What's so depressing about this chapter? Sure, her cousin hates her now, but she's now talked to the same guy on three separate occasions and, despite embarrassing the hell out of herself, she cleared up the misunderstanding. That's the most progress she's ever made in this series.

the past few chapter flew under my radar, but now that i watched them, damn, its really deppresing, i dont know why i end caring so much for her character.

If you think about it that way, then SOME people may find it less depressing...but still. If you ask me the cousin's affection toward her is not worth some menial chatter that made her lose more confidence in herself. Also, that cousin was the ONLY person that actually looked up to and respected her, but that's gone. Now she really is all alone

Hey, Tomoko is pretty popular with shotas. The 1st volume has sold over 10万 (100k) copies, it’s not her fault that she's super popular.

I find her really teetering the line of being pitiful or just plain sad. It's the kind of situation you can't help but laugh at, yet feel bad when you do.

Finally got my copy in the mail, among other things. I'm really amazed it sold 100k copies of Vol1. I expected maybe a tenth of that, even with 4chan's support.

I really hope the start taking Tomoko towards more of an actual plot. I don't think these one-off slice of life events will be able to last more than 2-3 volumes.

And then she humiliates herself in front of her mom. God, this summer break arc is getting super depressing. On the bright side:
