It seems like the original thread was lost. So come in and discuss this anime. I still haven't watch ep.24 yet, but ep.23 was pretty cool.

Oh, and dreamless, if you are implying that Van is Shinasuka-like, then what does that make the Clawman? Lacus Clyne of the show? 8) Anyway, if the parody is indeed there, it's marginal at best. Sort of a tongue-in-cheek nundgenudgewinkwink. 8)

Heh, this was a good ending. I am glad I stuck with this series to the end, even though it became somewhat cliched since the bikini episode. But all in all, Goro Taniguchi didn't disappoint and the ending was awesome.

I was sort of pissed that Ray died for no reason but leave it to Joshua to think of something. The scene with Carlos waking up and reactivating El Dorado was hilarious. Ah my sweet sweet Prisicilla only 1 episode left. I'm afraid Van dies is the route it'll go but who knows maybe not. Mihael and Van deserve their own mecha show . Anyway the only thing that wasn't clear was the part where Carmen says her reasons for hating Fasarina. I think she said for what she did to Hyatta and because she's cute and has a guy then went off on a whole jealousy trip. I'll have to rewatch that part again since I'm still pumped from the Van vs Mihael thing and Wendy about to shoot Mihael __________________

Retsoor Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2004	Spoiler for episodes 24 - 25: I really like the latest mecha battles in this series, they aren't that long and they don't end in both sides retreating. Ray versus Fasarina was a brutal close quarters battle with no holds barred and Van versus Mihael ended in Saudade's annihilation. Despite my worries, Ray went like a man and Van will probably kill the Claw Man while mortally wounded, and then either bleed to death or die immediately afterwards with ecstasy on his face. Here's to hoping Van won't have to cough up any sappy farewells to his posse.

While there are always multiple results for such a scene where X is about to shoot Y. I hope that Wendy survives in the series and that she kills her brother. I'm sorry, but it would take a freaking miracle for that guy to redeem himself in my eyes. Spoiler for Ep.25: Great episode, this is one of the few shows where the momentum and the humorus bits carried on through the whole show. The Eldorado V bit was hilarious. The battle is great. Saudade finally got chopped in half. Now it's time for Wendy to confront her brother. I'll probably have to watch ep.26 raw, can't wait a week for the subs. The last ep will air tomorrow night if I read it right. Man, can't wait. __________________ So long.

No complaints about the ending I loved it and I especially liked the reunion of uber hot grown up wendy and Van who doesn't age. What the hell did she feed Cameo though? That damn turtle exploded . Poor Mihael gets shot by Wendy then bitten by Cameo. Did Mihael die with Fasarina? It wasn't a good day for the bishie king. Captain Cage with the sexy rescue is instant win. The clawman was hilarious all the way to his end what a way to go too. I was wondering how we were finally going to fit Wendy and her gun into the show, as for the whole series we've been expecting her to get in some direct action (thanks to the OP ), and we finally have it. I can't help but feel this is in some way supposed to be GunxSword's "YOU SUCK!" message to Kira Yamato and GSD. Mihael was voiced by Kira's voice actor, he beam spammed (albeit not with as many guns), and had the multi-wings of light thing going like S-F. And then he got pwned by his little sister. (opposite of Kira, who helped Cagalli when she screwed up) And most of all, he went up against the bad-attitude-ly Van and his semi-afterimages in episode 24. (can anybody say Shinn Asuka and Destiny?) I was also wondering how they were going to conclude Van and Wendy's relationship at the end of the series, too. Well, I have my answer.
