Necomimi

I'd only ask one question:

Would you buy and wear one of these?

Here is a demonstration from last year's Paris Expo:

Oh, Japan and technology. To think, a marketable device that utilizes a neuro-mechanical interface. How I dream of something like that. Just imagine advancing this kind of technology beyond cat ears... like oh... a neuro game-controller.

Of course, a device like this can be weaponized too... but... I'm not gonna bother think along those lines.

And no, I'm not advertising this. I just happen to want one. FYI, I happen to own a pair of cat ears myself already - but - they're ordinary.

I know a few females that would..... they're hilarious if naught else. Wife-san has a fancy set of ears she usually occasionally for halloween.

I was about to correct the romaji (nekomimi) ... but I see the company did the evil spelling itself.

I don't mind getting one for the June AFAM event. However, wallet issues first.

Yes, but women might learn now to mentally fool the system and the ears will provide false reading.

To be fair, there's bad examples in every country.

I think it's kind of cool though, personally. It's interesting that I watched most of the video and didn't find myself bothered by seeing two sets of ears. I didn't even notice the human ears most of the time.

It is a cool technology that I hope to see more of though. The reactions on their faces just tells you how neat it is. ^^
