I don't plan on pirating it so it's good :P

On a related note how much do you think the DVD will be?

The only possible way I can draw sissy from "onee-sama" is: "big sister" -> "sis" -> "sissy".

I definitely prefer how Seven Seas handled it... Kuroko refers to Mikoto as "oneesama" . Of course that doesn't work for the dub.

I think something like "my lord" or "my lady" might work (in college I knew someone who would always address her female friend as "my lord").

I wonder how they'll handle the small "onee-sama" gag in episode 10... for it to survive Kuroko and Imouto need to be using the same term.

"My sister" would be much more formal, as "sis" is informal.

They did that with Baka Test's Miharu on Minami.

Those are pretty horrible name translation, I hope they don't screw up with the dubbed version. So what are the chances on getting a full season BD/DVD release instead of being split into two volumes?

So I just found earlier today that the dub is finished for season 1, and they are working on season 2. I hope that means a season 1 release later this year.

Based on how most of the recent dubbing is mediocre from Funi I'm not expecting much.

Just checked the Funimation website. Looks like A certain Magical Index Vol. 1 LE and vol. 2 are being released October 30th. Can't wait.

So this really is going through? Wonder how they let Kuroko pass through, her antics in Railgun might be a bit too much to an American audience.

Or are they just skipping past Railgun and doing only S1 and S2? A real shame than, not enough Misaka with just those.

Wow, that's borderline... uninspiring...

I guess that's why it's that much cheaper ?

What funi lacks in that they usually make up for with trailers that make the show cooler than it is.
