Lightbulb Wedding dress cosplay

What would be a better cosplay for anime expo?

A pretty wedding dress with veil and flowers?

Or

A bloody zombie style wedding dress

Also which one do you think you have seen more?

How about this one based on the gown Sebastian forces Saya to wear in Blood+ episode 43? Seeing as its Saya we're talking about here, you get both a beautiful young girl in a white dress and, if not a zombie, a vampire who needs to drink blood to survive, too! What you don't get is an actual wedding dress but a gown that could be used a wedding dress.

I can't think of many weddings in anime at all outside of Wedding Peach. Most shows feature adolescents so the chances of anyone getting married are pretty slim. Maybe there are some weddings in shows for young girls, but I know nothing of that genre, and probably any such characters wouldn't be recognizable. Among shows with adults, I can think of one wedding, when a supporting character in Hataraki Man gets married in episode six. She wears a very girly dress with a veil and ruffles, as befits her personality, but no one at a convention would recognize Yumi.

There are a lot of young ladies in wedding dresses in this video, but I don't recognize any of them myself. I wonder if they aren't mostly from doujinshi and fanart, but perhaps some other folks here might be able to identify some of them.

From Mirrai Nikki, the episode/chapter where they go on a date to one of those wedding venue places... The girl is kind of crazy/yandere so you could carry a knife prop too if you want, lol.

Yeah I have seen Wedding peach... I dont think I could pull off that one... I think the dress that I have seen cosplayed before was Yuna's from FFX

I have some many ideas and only four days to do it.... orignally I was just gonna go in a hello kitty mascot outfit... I thought that would be neat

I saw a dress at the thrith store for $125! I dont think i could afford something like that...

Hahaha, who wouldn't be. But still, you do some "adjustments" that will suit your taste.

Ah, I see that jedi is ahead of me.

Yuno does like kitchen knives, but I think axes are her favorite weapon.

I suppose there is also Skuld during her "day as an adult" episode. (Skip ahead to about 17 minutes in to see the wedding dress). Skuld is pretty identifiable by her facial markings. (As an aside, boy does the Ah My Goddess dub suck).
