The notes on this game aren't that difficult even at the highest difficulty setting, so I think it's unlikely to happen

Sega announced today a final release date of June 21 for K-On After School Live!! HD Ver.. The game will be priced 5,229. The first print run will include a set of six IC card stickers (meant to be placed over your IC cards).

K-On is a remastered version of a 2010 PSP title. The PS3 conversion has HD visuals and support for 3D televisions.
it's expensive ;_;

Looks like I was pretty spot on with my guess of release date...
But still, is this implying that the PS3 version is getting a retail release? (they can't really bundle IC card stickers with a digital version, can they?)
What are IC card stickers anyway?

It's too expensive for something that offers nothing new at all. The graphics are just a mere upscaled with not actual work put into it. This is just a cash grab to me. I'm sticking with the psp version then.

It's starting to show up as available pre-order in stores, so I guess so.

Will they
1) Allow you to play videos of the songs you clocked? It would be so cool to sit back and relax to some of them!! ("Fude Pen Boru Pen" and "Dear My Keys" in particular)

2) Include songs from K-ON!! Season 2.

Oh good grief, please have yes on at least ONE of the above~!!

Only #1 is true, since it's a straight port of the PSP version...
I'm still trying to figure out how to get #1 working as well.

Just got mine.

Wow there are glossy stickers of the K-on cast included.

Dunno if there is a DLC here, but will check it later and post an unboxing.

got mine a couple of days ago and must say i'm disappointed. there have been a lot of bad reviews on amazon.jp saying the timing is off and i have to agree, the gameplay feels off compared to the PSP version.

Me too.
Seems in the PSP version I can get an S or A rank without trouble here it's harder.

Dunno if it's just that we where used to playing in the PSP that in HD PS3 controller it seems somewhat new again.
