I'm glad that Ore no Imouto is getting a 2nd season. It's the one anime I can watch over and over again and never get bored of. As I said in the Novel thread though, if they are going to do a 2nd season, Volumes 6-8 would be the perfect setting/plot for the season, and then using some chapters from Volume 9 as either Filler or OAD Material. Hopefully it'll be released for the Summer season. Would be a good idea since the plot of volumes 6-8 took place during the Summer.

I really hope ClariS comes back to sing the opening theme and make an appearance like they did in the novels.

I hope they return because:

1. They're awesome
2. I'm a huge fan of theirs
3. They make really great music
4. They're stylish and cute
5. My signature proves my love for them (in a fan way of speaking of course)

I'm not sure about summer .. unless the studio almost done already, I'm afraid it won't happen.

Fall 2012 or winter 2013 seems more plausible.

I would love for it to be a Fall 2012 series. Of course, more Kuroneko is always a good thing.

I also agree with the hope that ClariS is involved in some way with the second season.

I'm hoping they tie it in with a conclusion of the light novel series. Because then we'd actually get an animated ending (like Toradora! or some others).

Won't happy Vexx, the just released 10th novel is suppose to start a 3 Novel long "arc" of sorts. I have no idea if there is a suitable ending in the 8th or 9th novels but looking @ the numbers...

1st Season - LN 1-5
2nd Season - LN 6-9?
3rd Season - LN 10-12 (or maybe 13 if that is the final one after this 3 Novel arc setups the conclusion or whatever)

This series is popular enough that it will more than likely all get animated anyway, unless the author just drags it out way too much...

As much as I want to see Kirino and the other comes back, I just want to see ClariS make an appearance. I'm dying to see that, please make it happened! The ClariS fan in me demands it!!

If it end up being a 26 episodes series, then maybe it could go all the way to 12. Depends on when it will start to see if it's workable (also depends on the pace the author takes to release vol 11-12).

If it starts in the Fall, then Volume 11 should be out by that time. But I doubt we'll see a 24 episode season. More than likely it'll be 12+OVA's from Volumes 6-9 of the novels.

Is there an actual picture of them? I have only seen "anime" drawings of them and not their real picture.

nevermind.. that would be a "no". Looks like they don't want to be recognized.

There are no public pictures of them because they prefer to keep their status as singers a secret from their peers, and only their families know that they're music artists. I think with the release of their first debut album "Birthday", which came out a month ago, I think maybe they might go "public".

They use anime drawings of themselves because they're otakus and want to show their own uniqueness in their respective art form.

Proud ClariS fan here ^_^.
