Howcome the video quality is weird?

I've been having trouble lately when watching episodes from series like last exile fam and Eureka Ao.

I get colour splashes at times and sometimes some grids too. It's not too unwatchable as the vid is playing fine, but the colour just can't run properly. I'm not a computer expert so I've no idea what's going on.

any help is appreciated. thanks!

Have you checked the CRC to see if the file is not corrupt?
Have you updated your codecs?

What video player softwares are you using right now? I seemed to have encountered such problems in the past but I manage to play them using KMplayer and it solved my problems. If it doesn't work just redownload again.
