Well, since they have the space down there already, they can very well put it in use... it's not like both are likely to stuff anything else in there anytime soon

By the way, I was skimming through the novels, and realized that they have covered volume 3 in 3 episodes The novels are not exactly dense with text, but I can not help but wonder if they even have enough material for 12 episodes with only 8 volumes out

So for a filler episode we might have:

1) Travel to the beach
2) Travel to the onsen
3) Crossover with (fill the blank)
4) Battle Royale. Reapparence of all prior defeated monsters to battle Nyaruko at the same time, after she has had a power up (which in this case would have been having some hot ecchi with Mahiro).
