It's been a while, and I took some time to catch up to the latest chapters (last time I read this, it was only up to 20). It continues to be a great read!

Ma Ri is one unbelievably tough nut to crack, and I applaud her endurance. Even though it was (somewhat) indirect, having to do the things she did after the interview was something else. So glad she was finally able to confide in someone though, I can only imagine how that happiness must have felt for her.

Also, Jung Jae Min. This man is hilarious and brilliant. I wish more male protags were as forward as he is. That's all I have to say.

Lastly, it looks like I'll have to hold off on this for another 20 chapters. Though I agree that a triangle has yet to (if at all) form, I dislike these developments. Especially with the family being pro-actively pro-vampire. We've already seen Ma Ri push down/deny personal feelings once. I could very easily see her do it again in a True Love vs. Vampire Safety/Extinction Prevention scenario. I really don't want to sit through that while having to wait for the next chapter to come.

So I skipped a bunch of chapters to read the latest one (due to those spoilers). Boy, am I glad I did!

Ma Ri is adorable, and Jae Min is a f*ing champion. Why can't the Shounen writers make someone like him?

Still a big question about how he's gonna deal with the fact she's a vampire. He doesn't look like a guy who gives too much thought to the problem in general, but at the same time his relationship with mother's new husband is not that good

I can't believe that no one is updating or visiting this thread, but, oh well, might as well bring everyone one up to speed.

It's a really nice story, that's for sure. But I can't name any other show which uses as many panels for as little progress

Orange marmalade is simply fantastic..the quality of the drawings is not at the same level of the first 20 chapters (the colors and landscapes are still very good)..but the story is always interesting and really sweet...a great read

Ok - I read chapters 1-9 last night, and was kinda pleasantly surprised. Hmm. I think I will keep going with it bit by bit for now.

Spoiler for Chapters 50-58: The summaries are listed in the order of the said spoiler chapters. Well, enjoy! Ahem: Jae Min asks Ma Ri to go out with him, but avoids him because of the fact she's a vampire and not knowing to deal with the feelings she's having. Jae Min starts to give Ma Ri the silent treatment because of the fact she's been ignoring him, and it brought up bad painful memories of his childhood. Ma Ri starts to chase him around to get an answer from him, but the silent treatments are starting to hurt her. They manage to talk, but Jae Min pretty much tells Ma Ri how does it feel to chase someone and you return the favor by ignoring/doing the same thing. Ma Ri decides to return the favor herself and states that she doesn't care anymore (but starts to cry in the process). Jae Min and Ma Ri have a short falling out and he sees Ma Ri talking with the white haired vampire and he begins to get jealous and frustrated. At the club they have arguments and Ma Ri, despite saying she doesn't care, she begins to worry about him. After club activities Jae Min asks Ma Ri for her time and tries to give him the cold shoulder, but Jae Min being a pushy guy (it's in his character after all) takes her hand and start to talk privately. He asks her why is she acting the way she is now, and how she's purposeful neglecting his and her own feelings. Ma Ri tries to talk back but finally realizes that she's in love with Jae Min (finally!!!), but still keeps denying it, of course -_-. She starts thinking about him and still keeps denying that she likes him. Ma Ri and her aunt (Hanabi I think) talk about her situation with Jae Min. Ma Ri is still hesitant about her feelings because of her fears of how he'll react if he found out who she is, and because the falling out they've been having. She plays a song on a guitar in her aunt's cafe and starts to break down after thinking about him, and a desire to see him. Jae Min is still haunted by his painful childhood past, and his friend asks him what he'll do regarding Ma Ri, and at the possibility she was ignoring him was because she was shy at the situation. Ma Ri is at the train station obviously waiting for him, but it starts to rain and she takes shelter in a nearby booth. Jae Min, with an umbrella, walks up to Ma Ri and asks her if the reason she was ignoring him was because she was shy/embarrassed about the kiss and the confession back then. He then apologizes for giving her the cold shoulder, and that he really "liked" her and it won't happen again. Ma Ri starts to cry and she admits that she did avoid him on purpose, but it wasn't because she hates him, plus she was nervous about the situation and still doesn't know how to handle how she feels. Jae Min tells her not to worry and that she doesn't have to rush her answer and that he'll patiently wait for her to tell him her feelings. The two finally make up and Jae Min tries to do reverse psychology (ie. I have an umbrella, do you want to share? If not I'm leaving without you), and Ma Ri, and her obvious tsun demeanor, rejects it. Jae Min cleverly pretends to hand it over to her then pulls her towards him, lessening the distance between the two of them in a cool, heartwarming fashion (Jae Min is freaking awesome!!) With things finally back to normal, Ma Ri is still perplexed about her feelings, and how she'll approach them later on. In a flashback Jae Min asks Ma Ri not to make him wait too long and that she still wants to do things with her. Ma Ri obviously takes it as something "H" but Jae Min means a date (Ma Ri is so adorable) He tells her he still likes her (obviously) and he really want to go out with her, and do many things with her. Ma Ri and Jung Soo Ri (her orange hair female friend) talk about how she's aware of Jae Min and is suspiciously on how she's action. Ma Ri admits to Soo Ri that he loves Jae Min (Finally!!Insert Guile Theme), but is still scared about him finding out that she's a vampire and reacting when he discovers the truth. Soo Ri reassures her that Jae Min will love her for who she is, and that she'll support Ma Ri whatever happens, and will make him pay if he hurts her. Ma Ri's other friend Do Woo Mi (the girl with the glasses) overhears their conversation much to the shock of Ma Ri and Soo Ri, and the chapter ends.
