Correct. The issue with chapter 280 officially came out 4/25. Due to Golden Week, the next issue, which has chapter 281 doesn't officially come out until 5/9.

- Sabertooth master is one foulmooded old bastard, he has Yukino strip naked and grovel on the floor in front of him while all the guild watches

- Erza meets an old aqauintance (hint: NYAA ) who reveals that as it seems (translation not confirmed but definetly looks likely) Kagura has a certain bone to pick and might be willing to unsheath her blade of badass for none other than ...tadaaaa ...Jelly - which has Erza worried

- Lucy, Natsu and Wendy run into Yukino as she exits the Place where ST stays, now dressed as a normal person. Maybe she got expelled? dunno...

I have this theory that on the day he will release hentai FT extras he will have to do NO new work at all. he HAS already done it. He just needs to publish the version without the annoyingly misplaced textbubbles

I...wonder how the anime will handle that. Here's hoping it does cover the tournament.

As I expected, Millianna was the mystery Mermaid Heel girl (come on, it was obvious). And I'd think it's clear that she plans to use Kagura's sword to kill Jellal and avenge Simon's death. I know they were friends, but when did the cute girl who got beaten by Natsu making a sad kitty face get so dark?! And what became of Sho and Wally? You'd think Sho would be the one to try to cut Jellal's throat.

As I also expected, this arc is getting pretty ugly, and in a good, edge-of-your-seat way. All they need now is to unmask Jellal in public and show Gajeel in league with Raven Tail at the worst possible moment (I know Gajeel has been pretending, but come on, it's been building up for over 100 chapters; I've been waiting this whole time for the Raven Tail plot arc to just get over and done with).

So many loose plot threads are intertwining here, and it's clear that the most obvious things that still need to be covered before the inevitable finale are what the hell Tartaros is doing, what the feast of the Dragon King (or something) is, and how Zeref knows Natsu.

I usually like cat girls, this one is just pissin me off some reason. Her team too, We get it, don't underestimate women, Which i don't think anyone there has said anything sexist...

Chapter 281 is the chapter we'd normally be getting this Friday/Saturday. It's just leaked a couple days earlier than usual due to Golden Week.

Lolz about someone wanting to kill Jerral... like she won't change her mind later after getting a bit upset after fining out the truth that Jerral was just a mind controlled/brain washed idiot at the time who's now a good guy again. I must wonder though why she left her friends to join an all female guild... did they not want to kill Jerral or something? I mean the whole I will leave my friends to avenge a friend in a nakama heavy story like this almost makes no sense

I do expect a lot more darker plot lines than normal, I'm just fearful they'll be resolved too easily like in every other Fairy Tail arc... oh well we all know ahead of time the Troll is strong with this series.

I know, last arc started the plot slowly happening and now we're getting some here too... after the first 200 chapters with very little plot it's still hard to believe.

Dunno if Yukino will join the Mermaids. We all know Lucy is gonna end up with all the keys, which will leave Yukino with nothing, unless she has some silver keys. My bet is on her dying as a sacrifice to open the Eclipse gate.

Anyway, a fairly dark turn for Milli. I imagine Wally is now spending time with his brother (if Hot Eye is out of the slammer), so the real question is where is Sho? Though, since Milli is an all-girl guild, I get the impression he went off his own, too, leaving Milli alone and thus she had some time to develop dark thoughts ("everyone left me, revenge against Jellal is all I have").

I was going to like Gemma for a sec, then when I realized it was not for 'that' reason and was disappointed . Looking at the next chapter title, looks like Lucy is up for another power-up (like there was any doubt )
