We already had [and suddenly, Kanzashi!] coming out of nowhere to curbstomp the main 5 girls in more ways than one, Houki getting powerups like there's no tomorrow, and recycling of the plot (tournament = interruptions imminent)...

IS is fun to read, but expecting it to be anything else other than fanservice and comedy (like with real plot) I think is a exercise in futility

However Izuru IS competent in terms of character department at least, judging from his other works. The problem in I.S. is that he's trying to be stereotypical, and we all knew trying too hard will give a bad result.

The plot is what got me into it in the first place, I've no qualms with the characterization, and the antics are fun.

So basically I just want it to continue, weather it changes or not...

I was laughing on the antic until a teacher said a certain student that came late should be a target practice and and fucking sword and fucking sniper rifle is used in seizing the prince's crown.

Yes, I'm ignoring the fact that pressurized air cannon is going to be used in a confined classroom, or that energy gun and flying scimitar is used when there's roughly 60 student forming a line in an open field. Oh, that air pressure cannon is going to be used in a plaza full op people too, and don't get me start on the air pressure cannon is fired inside a dome-shaped waterpark.

But overall, I'll still like the story in spite of it's flaws, and yes, I want it to continue as well.

This is so true, especially the one that I bold. Heck, why can't they finish the event peacefully for once, it makes it stupid if the readers looking forward to the event since we already know it's going to be interrupted. Well, that is if the LN gets continued .. the future looks bleak at the moment anyways.
