Well, I could be wrong, it was only stated that it can "Easily reach Mach 7", however, you also have to remember that Laura not only use electricity, but conventional contained explosion method. (Which if I should say, kinda stupid)

Well, if someone submits a good criticism, I would want a way to reply back to them. It just feels odd when someone throws in comments but there's no way for me to get back to him/her after reading it.

Then there's also me not liking the risk of trigger-happy trolls.

Nah, they still treated like an irreplaceable asset than anything else. While I agree that it was hyped in a way, the actual performance did give us a reason of why it was so powerful.

Mass production P.S. on the other hand....

Jinrai gasps as the live feed shows two fiery trails approaching the Academy in a wide, parabolic trajectory. “There’s no mistake. It’s Praxidike.” “Are you sure, Takafumi?” “Spiral trails. The pods are designed such that it would accelerate for as long as it’s in flight. Shallow canals forged in a spiral shape around the pod cause the friction-induced fire trails to be of spiraling pattern as well.” “So it’s confirmed, then. Two, mark the approaching trails. Iris, in her grey Rafale Revive, brings herself into hover near Inami and Maya. She calls up one of her Vent rifles on her right arm then nudges Inami’s shoulder. “Think our Vents will work on those?” “I uuh… I’m not so sure, Iris.” “I think it’ll work.” Maya chips in, shifting the other two’s attention to her. “How so, Sensei?” “Well, theoretically… While the pods are armored, they still need to be able to travel far. If the pods have heavy armor, the weight will hamper their operational distance. That and factoring in the total weight of their ten drones cargo, I’m very sure the pods are not that heavily-armored to render our Vents’ shots ineffective.” Inami and Iris turn their heads at each other then back to Maya. “Sounds fair, Sensei! Within the pod lies the humongous, humanoid Carnage unit along with Gerald, who’s now suited up in the crimson-colored Minerva Pallas in a separate compartment in the drop pod. “Status.” He contacts the male operator. “First five drop pods should be entering their range any moment now, sir. The remaining five are still on countdown. Everything’s proceeding as planned, sir.” “Good. The Carnage?” “Final diagnostics shows all green, sir.” “All right.
