I loved how Panda was at first excited to get on a packed train. I wish I could have that enthusiasm myself.

And yeah the moment with Rin Rin was priceless.

I know there are probably better shows this season but this one is a personal favorite just because of how much joy it brings me.

edit: I forgot to mention the scene with the girls eating the parfait's with the animal designs and their reaction. Very understandable why they didn't go with a Parfait fair in the end.

I did that when I first visited Tokyo - rode the Ginza Line at 8 AM, just to have the experience and see the attendant who shoves people into the trains, etc. It was fun - once.

You know I wasn't even thinking about it in terms of how crowded the Japanese trains can get, I was thinking about my own negative experiences on packed trains.

There's this thing called anthropomorphisation, and the cast has already been subjected to it multiple times on pixiv before this episode even started.

Also, there's already tons of... questionable fanart there. Without the anthropomorphisation.

As far as shipping and Rule34 go, You Can (Not) Escape.

Dream Panda was ridiculous, but Panda did lose weight. Love Panda's new look. Girzzly was a nice character.

This episode was my least favorite of the bunch. I like panda but I like when there is more equal time between the animals (grizzly also didn't do it for me personally)

Although I did highly enjoy Polar Bear carrying Panda home.

This show is so made of awesome. I wasn't expecting to like Polar Bear Cafe so much since gag shows are hit or miss for me but like it I do. I need to get a Grizzly avatar soon.

From what I understand only 12

There are only 3 volumes of the manga so I expect we will see everything that is available animated.

Spoiler for Born to be Mild...: I did like the Rocky reference thrown lightly by during Panda's fantasy training sequence, but that was as nothing to the sight of "Darth Panda". Then when Polarbear took Panda out to meet his old friend Grizzly it was all a bit too wild. Although Panda's biker outfit at the end looked more like he was auditioning for the Village People. Let's hope 'Rin-Rin' doesn't see that! Looks like we'll see more of Penguin driving next week...! Last edited by Dop; 2012-05-11 at 03:50.
