Drunken Fist is not so deadly compared to some dancing from a tribe called Minangkabau in Sumatra island.

They have some dance, that in the past, intended as a show of Martial Arts skill by made an arena with a dancer (highly skilled in their tribe traditional martial art) in the middle.....and an adult TIGER as a partner

the dancer must hold off the Tiger from eat his/her head, without killing it and exhausted it stamina, while doing so, the dancer must use beautiful movement derived from their traditional Martial Arts move.

You have got to love Rebecca! She's the perfect blend of Rias Gremory and Akeno--both kind,cool and awesome at the same time, yet adorable and slightly sadistic. You have got to love how she trolls people around.

I really hope this series gets a good translator. Though I feel dumb saying that when I can't do it myself....

If Oscar won, Eco would go Matriarch form and kill him ^-^ But the real problem would be, what would happen when Ash (who is supposed to be a Queen) doesn't get pregnant. I'm not sure how it works in this world, but a barren queen wasn't allowed in medieval times.

Not the biggest fan of this novel, but I still do read it. Thus far, no one in the chinese community translates it so this novel only comes out when the official published Taiwan translations comes out (Taiwan at vol 6, Japan at vol 8).

The best personality in this story is Rebecca who is kind of similar to Rias in DxD (heck, they both have crimson hair).

mah.... there is only 1 thing which can stop matriarch eco... and well, he's off in soul world trying to rediscover himself..

so in short, Eco flipping a fuse will only lead to the other side winning without there ultimate weapon.

I was under the impression her trigger wasn't comedic. As in, Ash gets hurt, she starts breaking things. Like buildings, cities, nearby mountains, small stuff like that. She's only gone Matriarch mode once, as far as we know, and it wasn't funny.

Rebecca doesn't really lose. First off, Ash Excaliblasted the two's ultimate attack before the two forces collided. Secondly, Rebecca was trying to hold back her power half the time due to the fear of collateral damage. Thirdly, I don't think she had any idea that Oscar became an Arch Dragnar before the fight--since she doesn't show up often. We never got to see the result of Rebecca getting serious, simply because Ash stopped the fight when she became serious

In volume 6, Spoiler for some fights: we learn that Oscar is the Vice President of the Council. Ash wonders why he never sees this person. Rebecca says that it's because no one can control him. Soon enough, Oscar arrives and asks for Rebecca's hand in marriage (to be determined in a fight). The two of them have a fight and Rebecca, to the shock of everyone, loses. Later on, we have that tournament. Rebecca vs. Ash. Ash was losing in the beginning, but after some motivation from Rebecca, he surpasses his old self and defeats her. When Rebecca's armor was destroyed, she ended up naked which is when Ash got a good look at Rebecca's body. Last edited by whsie; 2012-05-12 at 15:51.
