Dixie-based western/American perception regarding cousins marriage/relations has become annoyingly mainstream internet-wide (understandably but still). While if being done too often within a single blood line won't create favorable genetical consequences, otherwise it's pretty much an okay thing really. And arguably, possibly there are more cultures that are okay with it then those which are not.

That being said, I have vowed to never engage in such an affair. But I'm personally okay with the idea.

All the "teenager" aliens (Nyaruko, Cthuuko, Hasta, etc.) are actually a little older than Mahiro, but not by much. Luhi is, of course, much older.

Louis (also known as Cthulu) is really such a evil woman. I really can't stand her because she kidnapped Yoriko and Cthugha while using a magic that turns them into her personal bodyguards !!

Please Nyaruko, you'll need to use a magic that make her saving them while Hastur will beat Louis to death !!

That Kuuko sure got beaten easily. All it took were a few photos of Mahiro lol
Kuuko Denpa Onna parody was nice ^^
Looks like the whole kidnapping thing was about gaming consoles..
The summer fun part at the beach/onsen was really nice and relaxing.

Nyarko 06 - Video Game War Core

Finally, Rider nods are back in full force. And some more recent stuff at that. Those flashes of red, yellow and green when Nyarko transformed this time can only mean OOO (Tatoba!), and Mahiro's mom used Accel's catchphrase when knocking down the Xoth's drones. Though Kamen Rider Nyarko didn't get to do that much, which she was visibly annoyed by. Great stuff.

And as predicted, the majestic anticlimax all had to do with video games. (Gives new meaning to Red Ring of Death, doesn't it?) The economics of the game market were pretty spot on. Given the low sales of the Xbox in Japan, this was probably meant to parallel that. Nyarko's distraction tactic in the fight was another great gag. There's a pun I want to make on Cuko and queen(ing), but it's hard to find the right way to phrase it.

It's been three weeks or so getting here, and it was worth it. A nice conclusion to the console war, a new character and some fanservice on the side. Tamao even got screentime! Now, if Nyarko is OOO, then the question must be asked: Who's Kougami?

Spoiler for Episode 06: I'm so glad that the characters have become so genre-savvy that they never even considered the possibility that Hastur might really leave. Ganbatte, Cthulhu-chan! Don't give up just because the early SKU had some overheating issues! I want to really hand it to Kuuko this episode. I was certain I'd be completely sick of her "depraved lesbian" schtick by now, but she's got the best lines in the show. From her emotionless lament re: the dangers of no-bungee-bungee-jumping, to her infatuated eagerness to purchase an Xoth Gold account, to her opportunistic "Mahastur" shipping, she makes me grin every time she's on screen. Bonus points for putting on a brave face to give the Xoth 731 the Old Yeller treatment. Come on, Mahiro, shed what remains of your worthless sanity, and let's get started on the soccer team Nyarko's been wanting.
