I both love and hate rereleases, because while it gives you the chance to own the ones you missed out on it also makes you a bit miffed that the OOP limited figures you DID get are suddenly not so special anymore..

I care only about the 'get' part, not the imaginary valuefrop if it gets a re-release
Getting into this hobby was never about the 'special snowflake' feeling, nor the delusion of 'investing'

on another note: does anyone have problems with the Nekomagic site spamloading Play-asia information?

I am just praying the Kino no Tabi figure is re-released. Well at least it got a mention on the blog.

That figure of Yui looks nice indeed. I'd get one too, but I'd prefer a figure of the character in her eishi suit. Ok, gotta resist the temptation.

As far as I can understand the nendo choices, I really think the figma ones are poor: sure, Madoka franchise still has a bit of its popularity momentum, but why Sayaka and Kyouko? They are quite recent, especially Kyouko, while the poll results sure point few justified choices there (oh well, I don't buy figma, but I can see why some people might fume because of this).

As for scale... well, color me not surprised to the slightest, although I -really- hope GSC won't focus only on Fate franchise (be it scale, nendo or figma), because they are saturating the market and choices way too much already.
I just want a Gilgamesh figure not a figma (do not like). I think the females of that franchise saturate it. I think I see Okabe on there too from Steins; Gate so hope they make a scale or nendoroid of him too.

Yes, a figure would do it too for me.

To stay on the Muv-Luv, I am waiting for this one too

I just got my nendo Sayaka yesterday... after a month of waiting. No more ~1-week SAL miracles like my experience with nendo Madoka, nendo Homura and nendo Mami, it seems.

Only nendo Kyouko left to complete the team, and I'll be expecting her after a month, as usual, since she just shipped the other day.

Did you go SAL Registered or unregistered? I've had loads of 1 week things with registered SAL but unregistered takes me about a month or more

SAL unregistered for almost all of my shipments.
The only exceptions are 1 EMS (which took more than a week), and 1 surface (by sea!, due to the GSC Online Shop's first shipping fiasco )

Madoka - 6 days(!) (still holds the record for the fastest of all my SAL shipments)
Homura - 9 days
Mami - 13 days

Okay, not exactly 1 week for both Homura and Mami, but still miracles/magic by unregistered SAL shipment standards. Every other SAL shipment of mine took more or less a month to arrive. I just thought the magically fast shipment streak for my Madoka Magica nendoroids might carry over to Sayaka's shipment (took 27 days).

On the other hand, my nendo Mayuri holds the record for my longest SAL shipment at 41 days(!).

You made me much less confident for SAL. Me being a man not trusting the logistic people, who may conveneintly fall goods "out fo the truck".

Or perhaps it's not SAL's fault.

It may just be the toys sold well enough for their home market that any export will have to wait for a 2nd batch of release.

I think it depends on when you order. Ordering in the winter time especially around Christmas is killer when it comes to SAL. I once had to wait 2 months for a package (I was so sure it was lost but it did arrive).

Despite some of the long waits, I've never experienced losing an unregistered SAL parcel, if that helps. No crushed packages, either. I've been ordering stuff almost monthly since early last year.

The problem is where I live, and where do people, working in there, come from. I mean, those are places where imported goods "disappears". So the less it stays in the logistic phase, the more at ease I feel.

And looks like the Muv Luv model I have been waiting for is up for preorder.

While I was saving up money for the Good Smile Ver. of Homura, it sold out on hobbysearch. Does anyone know another site that sells figurines, and ships fast like Hobbysearch?
