I'm a bit dissapointed by the character customization as it looks like there are no options beyond preset body/face/hair types.

I have seen a few comments saying this will change but it is pretty unlikely anything that major would happen between CBT and release.

I know that a Summoner class has been confirmed (the Lyn that was using the brush-like weapon in one of the early announcement trailers was speculated to be a Summoner; we now know this is true), as well as a Gunner class (we've seen various instances of gunners from the early trailers and in-game cutscenes). Also, the dev team has re-confirmed that there will be NO healer class (this was mentioned WAY back when B&S was first announced; they've simply only restated themselves). There's a LOT of videos on youtube from the closed beta test. There's also a private server floating around with content from the first CBT.

Man, NCSoft has really come a long way in terms of animating cutscenes. The ones in Aion are pretty terrible.

Different team is doing B&S. They had really great cut scenes when they first introduced it back in 07. The rendered video was so ahead of its time back then for MMO.

Last class is speculated to be a bard of some sort.

So I went ahead and watched some more of the CBT2 vids. There's a LOT of storyline cutscenes, and they're all as good as the intro one. CBT2 seems to stop at maybe the end of the first arc of the story? So it looks like this will be one exciting game (even just playing through the main story).

Looks like I'll definitely get it for that aspect at least (as long as it doesn't have Aion's stupid grind).

A game I'll be screwing around with in PvP until GW2. Unless GW2 comes out first, then I'm not that interested. This game gives me a overrated vibe with no apparent reason.

New info on B&S has been released at the 2nd "Soul Party" event that began on April 21st. There's videos of the new character customization options (sliders! no more preset models), the new Summoner class which will be playable come CBT3, and the new Qing Gong moves players can perform in the game. Keeping an eye on this as well, though the game being Korean... well, fingers crossed that it'll take a cue from the more recent developments in MMO questing.

Questing seems pretty standard, but what does make B&S stand apart is that its main storyline is pretty strong, with lots of cutscenes, dialogues, etc.

It's totally like watching one of those Wuxia series, except with cute anime girls instead.

Is this one of those fancy shmancy action RPG MMO like Vindictus & Tera?
Looking for one to try out but Vindictus isn't available outside of NA & EU and Tera thinks i'm a criminal if i m not living in NA & EU region XD
