Yeah, that one is pretty brain-dead simple. If you want one that has a bit more advanced of settings, then I'd suggest MKVExtractGUI2. Sure it's older, and there's a small amount of work involved, but it gives you very fine tuning (which is nice if you can complex mkv files and not a lot of disk space).
I should note that the GUI2 is just the visual interface for the program MKVExtract/MKVWizard, which is all under the MKVToolnix package (so yeah, there is a bit of work to do - why no one just posts a zip with everything in one folder, I have no idea).

MKVcleaver (you need 0503 full and then apply the 0504 patch + mkvtoolnix as mentioned by Dante) is also not bad.
But whether your sister's editing tool can handle the raw data .... totally different question. |
