I am so sorry I didn't get Makise Kurise at the preorder price (I ended up getting her Nendoroid instead because of the price) but now I really want the GSC scale figure.
I know there are still places to get her but not sure if I want to spend the money.

Well I am kind of hoping she will be at Otakon but that's probably wishful thinking.

I got that GSC version of Kurisu. It looks even better in person that all those photos did, which is usually not the case with a lot of figures. I honestly thought its pricing was fair compared to other things its size.

GSC's Goddess Madoka received a very 'healthy' 14000yen price tag

Considering the details and all, 14K is actually a "fair price" in contrast with other figures of the same caliber.
However, if I were one of those who are about to buy it, I would be extremely worried about the customs but more importantly, the shipping process. I wonder if GSC will put bubble wrap like they did for fig like Saber Lily distant avalon.

Kyouko get! Just got her today from the post office. Now my nendoroid Puella Magi team is finally complete!





Looks like the Madoka unreg. SAL miracle magic continued for Kyouko, as I learned that she's been sitting in the post office since May 30, and she just shipped from Japan May 22. This means she arrived in the country after just 8 days(!)

This makes her my second fastest unreg. SAL package ever after nendo Madoka (6 days), edging out nendo Homura's record to third (9 days).

Okay, not exactly 1 week for both Homura and Mami, but still miracles/magic by unregistered SAL shipment standards. Every other SAL shipment of mine took more or less a month to arrive. I just thought the magically fast shipment streak for my Madoka Magica nendoroids might carry over to Sayaka's shipment (took 27 days).

On the other hand, my nendo Mayuri holds the record for my longest SAL shipment at 41 days(!).

Was it because I like Sayaka so much that she took the longest to reach me? (27 days)

GSC has finally revealed Ultimate Madoka, painted this time



Few more pics on Mikatan's blog. Didn't plan to buy it, but they definitely went nuts on it (and for once, the base is a bit special). They even made a CM for that

It's not that I thought the price was unreasonable but I wasn't sure I wanted to spend it at the time. Now I regret that decision.

And wow that Godoka, I am only a casual fan of Madoka Magica but that's a gorgeous figure. Will see if Ami Ami won't sell out right away bc they will have the best price.


edit: After posting about Kurisu I found her at Mandarake for a pretty good price so ordered (I hope I did get her).

Now just to decide if I want to spend a fortune on that Ultimate Madoka. :O

But over at MFC some people did some estimates & she seems to be cheapest at Hobby Search. They are having a 50% off promotion on shipping.

I buy several figures a month, so with combined shipping I don't really take shipping costs in to account (though large orders, like this month, can sting).

Yeah not sure if I want to spend the money. It's way more than I like to spend on a figure.

The reason I want her is because I think she is a beautiful figure but she is not a favorite character and I also tend to only buy figures for characters I love. Hence why I am a bit conflicted.
