That sure as hell sounded like this guy

That Kiss! I've waited so long for it! yes!
Aside from that I thought it was a pretty funny episode. The jokes/references were delivered well, and the pacing was fine too.

*glances about, suspiciously* _

Yoink! *grabs the Hastur/Kuuko "statues" and flees*
Nishishishishi!

This week Earth is scheduled for destruction to make way for a new hyperspace bypass protect the children from dirty cartoons, and Nyarko tongues the back of her own throat. What.

You know, I understand that the Space Child Guardian was supposed to be taken along the lines of the previous arcs' anticlimaxes, but after a kidnapping plot to secure a juicy new uke for a trashy drama show and getting caught up in an interstellar console war, I've gotta say, having to combat an officious self-serving prick hiding behind the bullet-proof shield of "save the children" seems like a completely legitimate conflict.

I love that Hastur and Kuuko's petrification is never resolved. They could still be at the park for all we know.

Ties very well into "It's the law!" liners they kept throwing in the episode.

A full-on assault on Bill 156 and Ishihara? Glorious - that's what parody is all about.

Ishihara aside, this ep shows us on an example of what if Fukuda was on crack & Flit will rage as his family's invention is used for unsaviour-ness.....

Nyaruko is one hell of a kisser... if that doesn't warm Mahiro up to the whole 'Nyaruko taking his virginity' idea, something's wrong with that boy. >.>

Does Nyarlathothep ever use powers? Hastur and Cthugha use their mythos abilities like wind and fire, but all I've seen her use are a crowbar, grenades, and a parody henshin transformation.

Side note - If she's over 25, then her relationship with Mahiro would look odd to some.

It seems Nya prefers brute force. She like it close and personal, and to rip your face off your skull.

I'm not sure you can apply the concept of 'age' so easily here......

'I'm actually 2,164,865 years old-- but that's 16 in human years, so it's ok!'

I guess I can understand Mahiro being hesitant:

1. She admits herself that she's Nyarlathotep and take into account that Mahiro's an H.P Lovecraft book reader. He's probably still got mental images of her looking like a bunch of writhing tentacles (She herself confirmed she really looked like that). Kinda like a reverse Saya no Uta.

2. Her reason for falling in love was "He looks my type". If the practically immortal lifespan thing is taken into consideration, then what will happen when Mahiro grows old and loses his young looks? Does Nyarko ditch him once she finds somebody else who's "just her type"?

3. He's understandably wary of how dating a Cosmic Horror can break his mind.

The canceller fight was awesome. I think it's a reference to Gundam Seed/Seed Destiny, in which N-Jammers were banned because they jammed devices that themselves prevented the use of nuclear attacks.

It's not much but she did easily fend off that death laser by immediately setting up a protective barrier. Its defensive values must be great. Otherwise I'm not familiar with Lovecraft, what kind of powers is she supposed to have based on the mythos?

Nyarly is likely one of the most powerful things in the Mythos ever, as befitting of the Herald of the Outer Gods. Aspect-wise Nyarly's "masks" vary wildly in power level, with one that can be actually scared off by bright light.

None really apply to Nyarko though, but at the very least she has something on the level of some Kamen Riders.

Considering the fact that Cthulhu, who's way lower in rank than Nyarlathothep, can destroy cities and kill people with a flick of a tentacle, I'm guessing Nyar's stronger. Sill, I'm just wondering since she doesn't seem superhuman at all to the untrained eye, merely a girl who's acrobatic with a crowbar.

Poor Mahiro. Being kissed by your own body MUST be disturbing.

There are just some things we are never meant to know .

Just laughing at how those two are probably still frozen in the park even going into the next day. Probably back to normal next week, but would be funny if they only snap out of it then .
