Then again, that may be a blessing. He was a good character throughout the series and was allowed to die while his character was still cool. Since he died, you will always remember him fondly as one of your favorite characters.

It’s worse with characters like Renji who at some point in the manga was at their peak of coolness (he used to be in my top 5 at least), but then just continued to exist to the point where he became bland and boring. I’ve said it countless times, but Renji should have died in his battle with Byakuya.

Seems this Quincy is a guy, I thought for sure it was a girl. Seems like the quiet type with some sort of bondage power that causes people to die screaming in pain, pretty interesting. Captain Byakuya vs big Quincy

It’s Byakuya, despite seeing his bankai a lot I still think his fights are pretty interesting, so this one might be good.

I get the feeling that the Renji and Bya matches will be reversed. Between the two, As Nodt comes off as the more deadly enemy by far. Byakuya is better suited to fight him--petals vs. thorns. The other guy is a seems to be a bruiser type, and that's more in tune to Renji's fighting style. Either way, Renji probably gets his ass kicked. But he'd probably do better against the luchador Quincy than Nodt.

Captain Kyoraku vs Quincy with glasses

The Quincy is without doubt going to adjust his glasses a lot while talking, and I really mean a LOT. Just having glasses in a manga is a gimmick on its own.

no doubt he'll have calm and condescending attitude to go with it.

Correction: There will be little dialogue within the fights. I don't care what people say on the forums enough to want it to stop lol.

My biggest issue with bleach fights are the mounds of dialogue.

I'm expecting mayuri to come up with something to completely neuter these quincy once they hand the lower tier captains(im looking at you koma) their rears on a silver platter.

I expect a lot of pointless dialogue about how the shinigami wronged the quincy and this is a war for justice and not revenge blah blah blah.

I wonder where Kenpachi is? Since apparently its now canon that Aizen lured him to HM to avoid fighting him because he is transcendental level, I wonder if Buckbeard already has a plan to keep Kenpachi occupied somewhere.

I think he wants this over with given how ignorant and careless he's being with the character design and the plot(if there is one). Seriously it feels like he's just not into this anymore.
