I will recommend KEY titles (Kanon, Air, Clannad, Angel Beats!), H2O Footprints in the Sand and Hanbun no Tsuki ga Noboru Sora.

Well, Shuffle is not that bad to the extent you would start master-bathing.

Im going to buy Clannad next and watch that thanks

Just found out that clannad is on bluray but only american region format.

And the Region 2 dvd's are fully out yet and there overpriced as hell

I will try to find a region free bluray complete series i think

EDIT: seems there isnt a region free bluray, I will have to buy each series part 1,2 etc when they become avaliable, Part 2 is avaliable 18th this month

Do you know if there is a upcoming UK bluray release? if so i will hold out for it instead of paying 22quid per series part, Suppose there is only 2 and then another 2 for clannad after story but thats still around 80 quid for all of them. When the bluray costs 40 dollars for the first complete season

Try watching Kaze no Stigma. It`s english dubbed, it has action, a little bit of comedy and romance.

I'm not sure exactly what "style" is conjured up by the combination of Halbane Renmei, School Rumble, and Claymore! Tenma-chan with wings and a large sword? A Claymore beach episode? I always wondered what was so creepy about their midsections and nether regions. Let's dress Clare in a bikini to find out!

Since the US and UK have such a different inventory of shows available with English dubbing it's a bit hard to answer this question. Browsing the MangaUK site brings up these:

Baccano
Dance in the Vampire Bund
Spice and Wolf
Summer Wars
xxxHolic

I too can't figure out any similarities in the shows you mentioned but, I can suggest some which are good and dubbed in English

Samurai Champloo
Cowboy Bebop
Berserk
Gurren Lagann

Also, seconding Baccano and XXXHolic

You seem to have two types of shows you like, Romance/Comedy and Action/Fantasy.

I'd suggest the following (with English Dub):

Romance/Comedy:

Clannad
The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya Good Dub
Full Metal Panic Good Dub
Ranma 1/2 Horrible dub in my opinion
Hayate the Combat Butler
I think this has a dub

Action/Fantasy:

Soul Eater Okay dub
Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood Great dub
Madoka Magica Decent dub
Full Metal Panic
Chrono Crusade Unusual dub in that it is peroid correct (set in the 1920's and uses 1920's slang).
Crest of the Stars Has a dub, heard it was bad, but haven't heard it myself.

Many of the shows I listed have dubs, but frankly, if you have any interest in contemporary shows you'll have to learn to watch them with subtitles. It usually takes between six and eighteen months for a dubbed version to appear, and you're obviously going to be limited to those shows which a foreign licensor decided might be financially viable in your region.

If you have a region-free DVD player, you might want to take a look at shows licensed in R4 (Australia/New Zealand). Siren Visual has been releasing a number of excellent shows of late which are unavailable with English dubs or subs in R1 or R2 like Dennou Coil. Like the UK Australia also uses PAL, while the US and Japan are on the NTSC standard. (Of course, for Blu-rays everything is different. The US and JP are in BD Region A; the UK is in Region B.)

Fansubs are obviously not affected by any of this, but then you'll need to watch with subtitles.
