I got the same feeling. specially the near end when in normal clothes turn into underwear. Gives off that DxD animation feeling.

Looks good but not my type of anime to watch every week. I will probably watch it a bit or two. Then just marathon it when it ended.

I don't like excessive fanservice on the show which is given a lot of it on that tentacle monster of the pv.

I will still watch this until all 4 girls are introduce and if they are okay for me. I will watch them in a weekly basis but if not its marathon time

Well, at least it is better to focus on fanservice (like DxD and KoreZon), rather than a plotfull train-wreck as another show that sold thousands

Er, no. She is VERY different from Rias, in fact when it comes to personality (particularly H issues), she's the exact opposite

However, she's actually very charming in her own way. You'll see, she's really fun!

Indeed, after reading the first chapters, she is has some differences from Rias. Also the MC doesn't behave as idiotically as DxD's one did.

Rias thinks that Issei is the best thing since the invention of sliced bread. She pampers him to kingdom come, and not only doesn't mind ecchiness, but rather welcomes it. Oh, and she is ridiculously stacked.

Lisara is the complete opposite. She knows that Ryousuke is a fundamentally nice guy, and that she OWES him, yet she considers him way beyond her level - so she furiously refuses all H advances which Ryousuke makes towards her. And this is from where the story goes. A comparison with a slightly less violent version of Louise from Zero no Tsukaima isn't too far off.

Anyway, give it a try. I really like the characters, even/especially Ryousuke

Speaking of the PV, oh I love what I see. I especially love the animation, which did not give me the "Freezing" feeling that the DxD pv's gave me (ie, slowly animated) And when I don't get that Freezing feeling, I know I'm going to like it

As per my usual defense, I will now scientifically explain why the two school girls are what you call "fat".

Compare the body sizes of the two school girls in the back to the 2 reaper girls in the foreground. What is the difference? Well, it's elementary simple really. The two school girls enjoy the pleasures of an earthlings life, much of that including eating earthling food, while the 2 reaper girls eat the life force of man. Hence the difference in body proportions: what you think is fat, is actually the normal body of a properly fed human girl! THEY ARE NOT FAT IT'S MILK DAMNIT

@mangatron: When Mina, Iria and maybe Kyuuru make their anime appearance, I will pick again the debate

@SkyBlackSwordsman: There isn't much more to say, Risara does owe at least her gratitude to Ryousuke for what she is putting him through, but unlike Rias is most of the time asexually tsun- to him.

What Rias and Risara have in common are their supernatural nature, status, admiration, presence, appearance (save for the cup-size).

Lisara is a first-class Shinigami from a fairly illustrious family. Her task is to identify extraordinary humans with a lot of spiritual power, and then contract and serve them. Unfortunately, she failed to find someone suitable before she ran out of her spiritual power herself (as Shinigami, she leeches this power off her contractor). So, while she's standing alone in the pouring rain, contemplating her shame, Ryousuke approaches her and offers her his umbrella.

Ryousuke is a naive, but generally well-meaning young guy with a huge interest in anything ecchi (more the watching and dreaming than doing kind, though). His motto is "Cute Girls are Treasure", so he approaches the crestfallen Lisara to help her out. Lisara is flabbergasted and suspicious, but realizes that he's a nice guy, so she allows him to lead her home to dry up. And once they reach his home, and after Ryousuke makes the hot-blooded yell that he'd do whatever is in his power to help her, she stabs him with a magical dagger, which allows her to syphon Ryousuke's spiritual power from him.

Lisara feels guilty because this places a serious strain on him (her siphoning off his relatively little spiritual energy kills most of Ryousuke's sex drive), and she becomes more or less a (working) freeloader in his house until she finds a suitable contractor. She feels she is "too good for him", because Ryousuke's power level is too low to become her "real" contractor. At the same time, his spiritual power regenerates exceptionally fast. Things go from there.

She's different, but very likable in her own way. It depends on what you want in a show - effortless wish fulfillment or a challenge ^_^

So, I'd say, give her a chance

EDIT: To make it a bit more explicit: She doesn't consider herself to be "better" than Ryousuke, just that Ryousuke isn't good/powerful enough for her to contract him.
