Really hope ai kayano is casted as mar...though miyuki sawashiro would also be a good choice.

That looks really nice, I guess A-1 should've been expected after their success with AnE, especially in how it shot the manga right up the sales chart. Shogakukan must be hoping they can do the same for their product in Magi.

Sounds about right. Magi is shokakugans 90th anniversary project so they expect it to be a huge success and with it being on the nichigo slot chances are it'll succeed in both disc sales (there are a ton of bishies so it can appeal to the josei crowd) and increase manga sales and hopefully raise shonen sundays sales back to where it was before.

Well that was certainly worth the wait. Looks gorgeous so far.

EDIT: Also I think it may be possible teir that far into production for it since this has supposedly been in the works since January going by the comment from the author's editor. Specifically that scene with Alibaba wouldn't show up until the second cour if the keep they pacing normal.

^Yeah, I tried to do the full sequences too but that would've required throwing out many frames and dropping the quality a fair bit. Shame, I wanted the whole Alibaba scene.

I'm happy to see all the love Han Megumi is getting from fans. With Gon, she's setting the modern standard for female seiyuu in boy roles (which, admittedly, isn't exactly a high standard to begin with).

Don't know about Aladdin or Morgiana but I think Mamoru Miyano would be perfect for Alibaba. Just my opinion.
