There's not much to say, other than that Xebec surprised me. It's not a deep show, but the humor was mostly right, and they managed to squeeze in some sort of plot. The situation was never dire enough to warrant the constant cliffhangers, but that was a nice technique to keep me watching to see how anticlimactic things turn out to be. The last episode even had a suitable final boss, and epilogue plot.
8/10. I was thinking 7, but the finale was too good for that.

I loved the first six episodes of the show to death. Starting with Ep. 7, the growing success of the romance kind of took hold like a tumor of seriousness, turning Mahiro from a guy bewildered and swamped by the craziness around him into just another tsundere that happened to be male. Those antics caused me to start actively disliking Nyarko, which is not good when she's the center of the humor (and also made Kuuko and the Trap in Yellow seem less funny in their pursuit of Nyarko and Mahiro, respectively, and more just sad and pathetic).
...I guess I just don't want romantic hijinks in my comedy? Or maybe it's because I've seen too many "I will pursue you until you give in! 'No' just means 'try harder'!" types to find them appealing when it's taken at all seriously... The finale, though, definitely brought things back up a notch, with an appropriately anticlimactic-yet-somehow-interesting final boss, some poignancy, and more humor. I'd be happy to see a second season, though less loli and more Atoko would be my cast preference. I think I shall now start shipping Mahiro with Shanta-kun, now that he has declared his love!

Sort of a normal kind of ending- neither too romantic nor too over-the-top crazy. Unfortunately just like Zombie, drama isn't Nyaruko's strongest suit; I know what their intentions are but they should have banked all in with over-the-top-crazy instead.
That makes 4 shows of Spring (That I'm watching) that have ended... |

I enjoyed this series on a very high degree. It'll stay in my mind for sure and also hope for a 2nd season. Just like Otome Youkai Zakuro it 100% fulfilled its purpose and intentions and gave me all the joy that I expected at which point I didn't mind the predictability because it just didn't play a role. The non-twists and anticlimaxes actually played out nicely intentional as well.
Now I eagerly hope for a 2nd season. I also have to shout out this, but Nyaruko totally became my 2nd all-time favorite character after Elsie.

God, they'll let anybody into that school:/ I seriously wonder why the Horror's even bother getting human disguises. They could probably waltz in there tentacles flying and they'd be let in.
On a side note, waking up to Shanta-kun staring at you Mahiro's one lucky dude.

Like Tenchi Muyo, Earth in this universe is entirely under the control of galactic forces. The hard part to get into the school is to get the Space Cops to approve. Once she has permission, changing things on the human side of things is easy if not automatic.

The culprit was the butler!
So he was an intergalactic eroge-trafficker (which was also addicted to the stuff). Liked Nyaruko in her Kamen suit without the mask. Liked how they included the extra songs in the OP/ED single (usually they go to waste). Since the last two episodes are not cannon I suppose Mahiro is not yet de-forked and will return in the 4th season with a forking vengance I do wish this show had been 24 (or 26) episodes long, but I should also be thankful they didn't made me wait until the release of the next light novel to see the ending >_< Well, lets pray for the return of Nyaruko in 2013.

![]() Wishes do come true yet again! Satisfactory ending for me ![]() Though I was miffed when the entire first half of the ep was I Am Legend "Mahiro Edition" but I was completely satisfied Guta-chan was not in the wrong here, but rather the green bat. What a nice loli she is eh, granting wishes.... say Guta-chan, I have a wish.....![]() And that ED song.... I swear I've heard it before (or a variation of it). Anyone else out there who is also insane in the membrane to verify I'm not losing my brain? ![]() ![]() I'm going to miss you Luhy-chan! ![]() ![]() Bye bye Haiyore Nyarko-san, thanks for the memories As the second series I finished this season (yeah I didn't even finish ZombieOfTheDead yet ), I had a fun ride, and gotta thank you members here as well for pushing me to catch up, as I for some reason didn't even remember what I was getting into when Spring 2012 began."Now disappear.... for the sake of Eroge" ![]() He's got my vote for Bad Guy Line of the Decade ![]() Quote:

Mashiro was bored without the usual chaos around him.
It was a bit weird how he ended up all alone. Flashbacks to fun days with his female aliens were nice. Nighttime showed what was really going on & the fun part began. Nice final episode but I was kinda expecting it to have more action.
