YAY! for this getting an anime!

buuuuut... since this is one of my favorite stories, my expectations are through the roof, past the clouds, and somewhere in LEO. There are so many ways that an anime adaption could horribly butcher a story like this. Whoever does the screenplay and directing for this better bring their 'A+' game, or it will end up utterly generic and lifeless.

This series was a absolute treat to read and I sure hope the anime can do it justice.

Nothing officially confirmed as of now, but there was a Drama CD released (see page 1) that could provide the anime cast if they keep them.

The Hero is too badass to be left alone, same as his harem the demon queen, female knight and the grand dragon princess.

Lol, someone recommended the Kotawaru manga the other day to me and I was reading it thinking "there's no way this is ever getting an anime" guess I was wrong on that count. Shall be sure to check it out whenever it airs since the manga was fun enough.

Yes. This will be great. I read the manga to its latest chapter. I hope the VA's will be from the Drama CD.

That's probably for the Drama CD, but it's not unlikely that the VA cast to be the same as the anime though.

Depends on schedule and budget I guess, especially if they're going to cover a lot of material due to the number of dialogues. Iirc, seiyuu is paid by the number of lines they have to seak and all star cast like the drama cd might absorb too much budget if the one adapting it is not a big studio(and considering the anime is most likely just an advertisement for the manga and ln, I doubt they're ready to spend big budget on it)

I find this to be one of the more intelligent series out there, so this news of an upcoming anime is definitely great news for me. A not so common story where reason prevails over violence.

After the announced of the anime, I have read the manga and really can't wait to see anime.
Manga is amazing, interesting and funny - yeah useless meat xD
I would like to read light novel but for me it's impossible
