i tried darker than black, but all i notice is that like every 2 episode there a different story line to it, there isn't really any link? after 2 episode the story goes into another story line with new introducing character and different problem.. i might try eureka seven,

When i say i didn't want the story main focus is mecha, what im mean is that im not a fan of is the whole huge robot fighting style that is controlled by people. i dont mind computer, airplane, technology. I just hate the Whole big Robot being control by people. kinda like the Endlaves in guilty crown. i dont mind if they play a small part in the anime i just dont want it to be the main focus of the story.

DtB you should stick with a bit longer as long as you're liking the overall style. You're right that each 2-episode chunk is a discrete story, but at the same time there's a background story that slowly emerges.

I do think the older series are your best bet if you can tolerate the "old-fashioned" look.

Eureka Seven probably won't work for you then, but you never know. It's less about the mecha than most mechas, but the "main" unit is still a major part of the story (the way that Shuu's void power is a main part of GC's story). The story similarity is strong enough you should almost immediately start to see which characters (and character interactions) in Guilty Crown got "borrowed" from E7. But beyond that the tone is night-and-day, imho, with E7 much lighter even when the story events are legitimately grim.

I suppose it's worth recommending Canaan. All the episodes follow a proper continuity in this one.

I second that, has everything the OP is looking for (the romance is between supporting characters though)

Another one could be Rideback I guess they count as mecha but they're not giant robots, the plot premise is similar to guilty Crown too.Absolutly no romance though.

i want is an anime that have these feature

- Awesome Action Fight scene (it dosnt have to be like Guilty Crown, where the fight scene is like gun firing, missile blowing) it can be like naruto or bleach kinda fight style. But i do like the futuristic time like the anime take place in a modern time or futuristic time where there train, tv, cars and people wear modern cloth style. rather then old historic times where people wear robe and living in temple like place and ride horses.
- A little Romance to it like Shu and Inori or yuji and shana or aria and Kinji or Taiga and Ryuuji
- bloody battle - people dieing ( not like some kids show where the worst can happen is someone getting a booboo )
- Great story line
- Awesome cool looking Character design like how Shu is
Check out Samurai Champloo. It's not set in the modern setting, but it has some pretty nice fight scenes. You're introduced to the main characters in the first episode - if you don't like them by the second or third episode, you might as well drop the series, because they all get a lot of screen time. I think the three have traits that can appeal to a wide range of people, though.

Scrapped Princess is a really beautifully done series. There were some pretty good fight scenes in it. The setting isn't exactly futuristic, but there are futuristic technologies. Mecha does not dominate.

Last Exile (the original - I haven't yet seen the remake, so I can't comment on it). Beautifully done series that might have what you're looking for.

Gantz. Bloody, pretty dark premise, quite futuristic. I would bet money that you'll dig this one. I never watched it to completion - I know that the manga is still on-going, but I don't know if the anime wrapped up satisfactorily.

Elfen Lied. This series won acclaim for blood and its dark theme when it first came out. The fights are somewhat Naruto-ish and there is a bit of a love plot.

I think that's good for now.

Edit: You might also want to consider Bakuretsu Tenshi. It was big stuff back in its day. It's not quite what I'd immediately associate with Guilty Crown, but check it out - you might like it.

^I would second Gantz. The anime ending was pretty decent too.

Plz dont suggest code geass. Im not a fan of Mecha "But Guilty Crown has Mecha in it" I know, a little Mecha in it like Guilty Crown is fine but i dont want the whole story to revolve around Mecha.

EDIT: Any Romance ~ Action
- No mecha
- No harem
You might want to try Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon then. The story involves nations and takes on futuristic settings too. Same as Guilty Crown, it's about Japan's rebellion against oppressing nations. Has a bit of mecha but only a very small part, even smaller than Guilty Crown.

It has intense fighting scenes, one of the best I've ever seen. Takes place on futuristic setting, has romance, also has a bit violence. A little bit spoiler, the great fightings starts at the 4th episode.

But for the storyline and character design... I don't know if it'll appeal to average anime viewers. The storyline itself is great IMO, but it's just the adaptation from the novel which makes the anime quite difficult to digest. You might need to visit this forum often in order to understand the story. The story is actually serious, but sometimes funny as well
And for the character design... I personally think it's okay. Some characters might look funny, but they have strong personalities. The females have very big breasts (compared to most animes) and it might look disturbing... but I personally could get used to it since the overall quality covers it

I still recommend it personally despite the storytelling and character design might make it difficult for regular anime viewers to get into this series.... IMO they're not bad at all, just "unusual" patience is needed for sure. But I'm sure you'll be satisfied by the fighting scenes.

I would recommend Gundam Unicorn but it hasn't finished yet.

I would try again my recommendations within that thread : it's called Dragon Crisis!, a 2011 12-episode supernatural action romance TV anime about a highschool boy named Ryuji who helps the dragon girl in trouble named Rose. The good things about the show is it contains loads of epic fighting scenes, loads of emotionnal drama, load (if not much) of romance, little bit of ecchiness (but pantyshots are not shown in this one). Another good thing is that the show do not have harem elements since the lead is very oblivious towards many other females' romantic feelings, the only female characters Ryuji has romantic feelings towards them are Rose and his childhood friend named Misaki, who's play a brief role in this show.
The bad thing about this show is being animated by Deen, has bad (if not worse) animation even through it managed to add a good amount of spices in it, not to mention with an average character-design. I'm one of few people who likes this one, since most of them are rather dissapointed or slightly deserved when it comes to this anime.

I already watch Dragon crisis, and I loved it, gave it a 9/10 rating. too bad the ending was soo quick, so much un answer question.

maybe u guy can suggest anime that is similar to dragon crisis. it set in a modern time, fight style is pretty cool but it could be better, guy meet girl, girl love the guy and follow him around, the guy dosnt want anything to do with the girl but sooner or later find out they he love her.

Dropped it so I'm not sure it ends like that but does seem Sacred Seven was heading for that.

Maybe you should try Sword Art Online
It's new but it's highly anticipated and I think it pretty similar to GC
