Darker stories does not always equal rape though.
While it's true in majority of games though like Saya no Uta (the topic creator should really avoid this game), Joker, Euphoria and many others

Osananajimi wa Daitouryou is a more lighthearted story than Hoshimemo or Shari no Kuni with also a tsundere character. But i don't think that it's meant for everyone because how silly the settings, premise and story is.
Or you could always go for the classic Da capo I and II for your tsunderes.

thanks for suggestions

im not really choosy with the romance/drama content, as long as there are some. like you said, hoshimemo could fit right to my tastes. but still i enjoy other male characters if their only role is "comic relief sidekick" or the "good friend" role during drama moments. i hope they are not part of a serious love triangle with the main characters like in shoujo manga (and i think these are really inappropriate for harem VNs). male characters like those aree the ones i would like to avoid in VNs. i just seriously hope theres none of these in hoshimemo
