Interestingly, while it sound awfully disgusting, it's not really incomprehensible, being physiological reaction and all. Just that fiction tend to exaggerate it for laughs.

CHarlotte asks Ichika to take her to her family doctor. Ichika takes her there with him as Charles and walks out the clinic to wait. Then he reads the doc's nameplate. OB... wait what?

Maybe the school is purposefully silent to keep their political position safe and thus missed a lot of things concerning their security.

Dunno, stupid as it sounds, it's the most logical explanation to me. Because the only alternative is "Adult are useless"

Today we’ll be welcoming a new transfer student.” The announcement instantly draws attention from the students, abruptly ceasing their respective conversations as they turn to their homeroom instructor with widened eyes while she turns to the classroom’s door. “Come in.” Camilla steps into the classroom and approaches the small elevated platform where the instructor stands. Instinctively, she briefly pauses right at the edge of the platform and raises her right leg then steps onto it. Pockets of whispers rattle the ambience as the students notice her apparent disability. “Wow…” “Why are her eyes…?” “Is she…?” The instructor steps aside as Camilla stops at her side and turns to her classmates. Despite not being able to see them, she could still sense that she’s being watched from every direction. “Umm… Before I start, I would like to apologize.” Her sudden apologetic tone raised eyebrows amongst the students including Lingyin who is sitting next to the windows to the outdoors. ‘What’s with her…?’ A brief moment of silence and Camilla raises her head. “I’m sorry… I can’t really see any of you.
