The MC has been smitten by Oda as early as volume 2 and his intentions are well known during these early volumes (2 or 3). That said, even though Oda and the MC were mutually attracted early on, it wasn't until the events of the end of volume 3 and the majority of volume 4 (the most nail-biting, exciting, and heroic parts of the series) that the relationship between the two of them truly solidified. After that point, the main thing holding them back is their status and the other girls gunning for our MC.

That wasn't a pleasant thing to read. Were those lingerie in mint condition or were they used? Anyway nice picture, we should make a request for the Light Novel to get translated on Baka-Tsuki. I think I will try to do it and gather people to vote on it to make it official.

Well he doesn't kill anyone, he is more of a General who stays behind line and issue orders. Though he does often risk his life for his friends and especially Oda Nobuna numerous times.

no. That said, he's extremely good at dodging. In his modern day, he really had no special skills except to play video games and be EXTREMLY good at dodgeball. In the novel, this was the skill that kept him alive during the events of episode 1 in the anime. Later on, when he was in the battlefields, that's the main skill that allows him to come out alive of those living hells. His main role in key battles are A) inspiration. He's like ray lewis. He can inspire his soldiers to fight to the bitter end even in the most desperate situations. B) knowing who to use. C) noticing key subtle insights that can turn a battle around or preempt a trap. D) having a flexible mind with strategies that are unusual. As a whole, his role in the story is more Alexander the great (brains) rather than Achilles or Hercules (unstoppable force). That's not to say he is always hiding behing everyone. In one of the battles, the mc opted lead the rear end of the retreating (oda's) force. He was very much in the gritty battles.

I knew he reminded me of someone and you pin-pointed it for me. Though major difference is that Nobuna is SO much more likable than Louise. Though Nobuna emphasizes the master/servant relationship she doesn't do it as much as Louise which makes me happy.
