But the problem will come if he shoots down the Master of someone he is having a battle with and when's having fun (like Uryuu and Caster? He wouldn't have objections there). Although, he'll be probably more interested in Kiritsugu himself than the Servants, considering he's pretty much like Saber as you said. The thing is that Tokiomi wanted him dead, Kiritsugu wouldn't. Death's a huge trigger for Gilgamesh.

And another big difference would be that Kiritsugu, being the proactive hunter he is, should actually make good use of Gil's overpoweredness, instead of holding him back and making him retreat the way Tokiomi did. But there's always that problem of him sniping the Masters of fun opponents, of course. If Kiritsugu were to shoot down Waver while Gil was fighting Rider, things could get pretty ugly. |

Indeed. Also in history, his love for her was completely religious/platonic (because Gilles was a closeted homosexual man then not-so closeted), but Nasuverse changes a few things. Rather than Prelati's seduction being the major catalyst behind his crimes (which made him pretty obsessed with sodomy), it's the hatred he feels after the loss of Jeanne and desire to be punished by God. It's not really completely wrong to assume he was present in Nasuverse when he's a lot more obsessed with her there than he was in history.
