The design is clearly post-mask Dio and Hamon Jonathan though, where the overall fabulousness level tripled after Zepelli was introduced.

Man... not enough with that fabulous design, their imba-fabulous pose makes them look even greater than what i had expected.. i know the chit-chat about ppl being curious of the studio's competency in handling this highly anticipated series, but with design and pose like that, i give it full green light, 10/10...

I'm so going to watch this no matter what, and now my anticipation level reaches heaven high, i swear i can scream WWWWWWWWWRRRRRRRRRRRRRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY like Dio now..

Fabulous levels rising. Both of them look awesome.

I'm curious to see what Erina will look like.

VA for Erina is damn overkill

they should save her for Jolyne Kujo

although at this point, there is no confirmation that they are gonna animate till that far

This had better not be a 13 episode OVA series again, because JoJo deserves much better than that.

Having at least something is better than having no animated project at all.

Yes and no. Sometimes a story is better left in written/pictorial format than in animated form.

I can't always agree with that. I have seen some pretty horrid adaptations that served no justice to the original.

Sure say that to all recent novels, VN and mangas that got their titles animated, but made with little faithfulness, and more stupid makeups which ruined the storyline completely.

But Jojo? No way... Jojo deserves more than just "at least"... its a 25 years series with popularity comparable to WSJ's big titles like Hokuto no Ken, DBZ and Yuyu Hakusho. Even several of its characters had become inspiration to many other great gaming characters, and mind you, the concept of Stand has become so wide, that many other mangas following such concept, just that, with different names of course.

In short, Jojo is a pioneer to many great things. Such great title only deserve to get "at least better than nothing"? It does not do Jojo any justice at all, not after staying strong for more than 2 decades... screw that previous OVAs and movie... what Jojo needs is something grand and bigger than that.

I want this be a long-running anime as much as any of you do, but what I meant is that if I had to choose between never getting an adaptation and getting only the first part of it, I would choose the later. I was already assuming this was going to be good, which comes back to how I wasn't precise in what I meant.

I'm happy with 96 OVA though, its only few part adaptation... but 5 of 6 eps is very awesome, some legendary name working on it too.

Satoshi Kon, Hiroyuki Okiura, Masahiro Ando, Mitsuo Iso is on staff cast, n the result is fantastic. We would not get that in long series..

@margafred
you set your expectation too high buddy
