I will admit I am interested in what happens volume 1, but I am also interested in how Shidou gets his seocnd spirit/ harem member.

i started vol 2 thinking John would continue with vol 1 but now Shini has taken over so........surprize?

I think the author's got his priorities mixed up in this one. Ratatosk is obviously just for poking fun at galge conventions, except the parodying doesn't really come off well-done when the author writes Shidou's entire experience with the ladies as something straight out of galge. You can't parody something properly when you end up playing it straight at the same time.

Tohka's my favorite throughout, but it's too bad that in Vol 2 she's reduced to being used for lovecom jealousy moments, and in Vol 3 and 4 she's just a sub-character who's used to throw a wrench into otherwise uneventful date events. At least "Ifriit" kicked "Nightmare"'s ass around in Vol 4. I seriously hope she gets some more character importance, because as it stands, all her character pretty much amounts to is "I am clingy for Shidou".

Seriously hoping the author gets his stuff together and gets on with the main story with Vol 5 onwards, based on what Vol 4 left as tidbits. Vols 3 and 4 were seriously the peak, what with little annoyance in the form of parody humor from Ratatosk, and mostly the focus on the seireis. I want to see Tohka back in her reisou, using Sandalphon's final sword, kicking ass and taking names (and not causing a space quake in the process)!

Well it does have DxD destructive factor .
But the series is more like The World that only god knows.

I like loli in anime but in RL I tend to like the Onee-sama type and sometimes the punk rebel type as well depending on my mood. I never chase a Loli in RL cause it's just not my style.
