anyway its gonna take a couple of years to get enough LN material for a third season, that was the main reason i wanted parts of shobon adapthed, but to be honest i dont know how much canon is that considered.

A single 1 cour series on average takes 3-4 volumes. Haganai produces roughly 2 volumes every year.

The other interesting tidbit of news is that the original novel author is assisting with the anime story planning (along with the first season's story planner), which I always find interesting. Particularly if they're setting this up for yet another season down the road, it's good for the novel author to help provide some guidance about what aspects of the novel are more important than others.

^ I'm already seeing how much they are exerting for NEXT. I'm not gonna hold my breath though; I won't expect that they would animate the checkered pattern on the skirts — I know that it's a PITA to animate.
Now that I have finished the first season, I'll be highly anticipating this one, especially because the first season feels like an "introduction" to me.
