Next week is finally boss fight since second episode.

Why would they take that out? It's a cliche anime thing. Frankly I wish they had taken it out because it doesn't really add anything.

Spoiler for Episode 8 of SAO with comparisons to the novel:

Good story good story... i think today's episode is being faithful to the original storyline.. didn't realize if they threw out other details, but still today's episode is wonderful.

Nothing much to tell about, since all of it can be read from the novel.. i think chapter 13?

Anyway i just love today's episode... having to see how the whole scenes look like really makes the differences than just reading the novel. I can't count how many times i kept repeat several scenes, notably the part where Kirito and Asuna having dinner together, and when Asuna fell onto Kirito, with Kirito doing piercing defense's grab attack on her boobs

But most of all, i feel like Asuna is starting to get on me too... i know i did said before that Silica is my favorite, but at this point i can proudly say that Asuna is my favorite too. Her soft face, her voice... and many more about her on this episode, that completely made me fall in love with her. She's just great in this episode.... and that face she made....



That face of her...


Rating? 11/10... win win win, nuff said.

Yah me too... especially on certain part... i have high expectation on that one. I don't mind if its going to be in OVA or movie, as long as they don't ditch that certain part away

For the record, I'm currently nerd-raging about the fact that Asuna was allowed by game mechanics to interfere with the duel and that Kirito still won after she did so. I can allow that there might be some badly programmed game that allowed outside interference from other players in duels, but to have that outside interference not affect the result kind of... undermines the entire point of having a duel mechanic? This little change, presumably to make Asuna look more competent, makes me think the directors have no respect for games whatsoever, which lowers my expectations of the anime several-fold. And it was already pretty low.
