ok so i was reading the manga cause i follow that a little bit easier but anyways i've come to this conclusion: KOTORI IS A UNGRATEFUL LITTLE BITCH THAT DESERVES TO DIE! she treats everyone like dirt and when shes not she thinks shes just the shit. well i say fuck her let her die all she does is cause more and more trouble

And it's all because of Kotori.

Without Kotori:

-Shidou would never have even gotten his power to seal/tap into a seirei's power.
-Even if Shidou gets the power to seal/use a seirei's power, Shidou would have absolutely no healing ability to survive massive injuries, like the shot from Origami's Anti Seirei rifle. He would die from the smallest of mistakes.
-Without Kotori, there would have been no Ratatosk. All they would have would be ASTs with their futile resistance fighting against seireis.
-Without Kotori, even ASTs would be crippled in their development, due to lack of covert research info for new anti-seirei weapons development on the part of shady companies like DEM Industries.
-Without the above mentioned, there would be no one to instigate discourse and understanding with the seireis much like how Kotori put into motion. Therefore, all the seireis would, from all the constant aggression, hostility and refusal of their existence, turn into guiltless slaughtering machines capable of not just crushing any resistance against them with little effort, but destroying massive property or even countries in the blink of an eye with space quakes. Just like Kurumi.

Shidou owes everything he has right now to Kotori, while Kotori has built up everything - Ratatosk, and even including her commander persona - all for Shidou's sake.
