She was shot a whole bunch, she just lived through it.

It's a personal motto, one he himself lives by. You can't expect it to be applied to everyone.

Not true, had Nunnally not been "lost" than Lelouch wouldn't have slipped into such a depressive state. He wasn't suicidal and has shown beforehand that he didn't want to die. The betrayal was just the last straw because with it he lost the Kallen, Rolo(Who redeemed himself in the end), and the Black Knights on top of losing C.C./Nunnally just recently due to his Geass.

You can only beat up a downed guy so much before he loses the will to live, he was still fighting to do his duties up to the betrayal. Even than he tried to figure out ways to get out of the situation alive until he saw Schneziel.

what about episode 25 of first season, he clearly riled up suzaku by stating that he wants to conquer the world, when he actually wanted to liberate it. He shows sign of suicidal tendencies even before he lost nunnally.

I was talking about it being used by the show as an aesop.

To be fair she got shot too but she got to live on with no defects or permanent injuries. They should have at least had her permanently injured because a girl like her had no remorse for what she did and stilled believed in oppressing others. The only reason she joined with the rebels at the end is because Schneziel lost and she was being hunted. It wasn't out of the goodness heart, make no mistake.

It's doubtful having someone like her around would be good for Nunnally's rule, would be nice if Suzaku/Zero was shown killing her later for being a hateful *****.

Here's some news:

http://www.geass.jp/akito/bddvd.html

The BD/DVD will be out on January 29th, 2013 and the BD apparently comes with English subtitles.

It seems there will be something else as well, perhaps an online streaming or broadcast in Japan:

Yes the blu-rays come with English subs. What's more interesting is that Ep1 will start streaming on PSN and Video Unlimited next week (Video On Demand), so maybe that means there'll be a raw available. *cough*

From the latest Great Mechanics DX 22, looks like Akito is getting an upgrade in OVA 2?

It's normal, he must become stronger to fight (and die) against Suzaku.
