Great episode.

Haru, I know you are grateful but you don't have to grab Niko's foot to show appreciation.

I lol'd when Niko explained IS characteristics, it was what we already knew from Haru vs Noumi fight, but then the third characteristic: They're shiny!
By the same principles, Noumi's IS is enhanced abilities, the same Taku is trying to achieve?

Quite surprised that there is a neutral battleground in the yellow territory, was it founded before the 9 kings? The bartender is a burst linker as well, seems like he already knows what he wants to become in the future.
The amount of money bet is rather small, but imagine 10 years later, when most of them have found jobs, how much would they bet?
Most likely, Noumi's would be enchaced offensive power and enhanced range. So, I guess it would be the same as Taku's. Going by that, SC can only learn enhanced movement and enhanced attack range. Although in Taku's case, he may be able to learn enhanced defensive power as well given how his avatar is built.

Agreed. That bartender has his future secured now as long as the game doesn't end. But still, it would be dangerous as well considering how gambling is serious business for some people...

I bet that the hacking issue where the hacker's name does not show up on the matching list will be solved by the next episode. Which then leaves the Nomi beat down after that, since then they will be able to duel him at anytime.
Judging from that era in Japan , that superbike Blood Leopard was riding was probably using electric motors instead of combustion cylinders . Or maybe a hybrid? And Araya drove his car at Haruyuki and Kuroyukihime in the earlier episodes , and Araya was in the same class as Haruyuki!

I think in that anime , the license requirement age was decreased thanks to neuro-linkers guiding the driver and "auto-drive" systems as stated by Kuroyukihime.

Hopefully, the last 2 episodes will focus on Hotspring episodes featuring Nico, Kurohime, and Chiyu. And any other girls in the series.

Haru and Taka will be busy self-training and will be missing.

Perhaps these neutral battle grounds are all over and set up by the non-legion players want play without worrying about politics.

I dunno, makes more sense to be an Akihabara only thing. Think about it, a new, incredibly exclusive and detailed game where you control your character, but nowhere to truly test your mettle. Enter the Electronic City, and voila, you now have a haven for the sport.

Now that Pard has finally made her presence known, I'm wondering why Purple King has not shown up yet, since she has the most hatred towards Black Lotus out of all the players right now. I would have expected her to show up as soon as Black Lotus returned.

Which makes me wonder. Could Purple King be behind this as well? As a way to get back at Nega Nebulous from behind the scenes? I still feel that at least one of the Kings is behind this New Accel World Order.

Yup, Akihabara is a mecca for all forms of otaku. So, it really makes to have an fight arena for burst linkers there. Since gambling is possible, this will become a big business for the organizers in a few years time.

Assuming the game isn't cleared by then.

Another thing I remembered, the fight between KYH and Yellow Radio was basically the unofficial introduction of IS, I can't imagine normal avatars moving at that speed.

I wonder if a player exists who can use all 4 IS categories, what traumatic experience he/she had to suffer.

I do wish Kawahara would do a side story that stars her.

Blood Leopard was great though, she gets straight to the point which is my kind of girl.

I loled at what Pard said, which is that sure, it's a gambling den, but since it's just middle schoolers and junior high students with their limited allowances, a part time job nets you a whole lot more cash in one hour.

Also, the way Pard was dragging Haru around, it kept reminding me of Maid Saber from Carnival Phantasm XD.

Somehow, there is something anout her design that seems familliar to me, though I can't place it. Also, IRL she would have sat in her skirt so it wouldn't get blown up. Still, Meido + Sport bike was awesome, as was Yuniko's henshin from moe imouto into pissed off King. XD and lol, they're still playing Tekken - that looks like an actual Tekken game. But no IM@S? T_T

Probably helps that it's the same voice actress.

Indeed. I'm quite glad to hear Ayako Kawasumi's voice again - I've missed her in the more recent series that are airing. She's come a long way from her original role as Natsuki Mogi, that's for sure.

Why would an arcade have IM@S?
Tekken is still popular in 2046, or is it 2047? Seems like Tekken will run for at least 30+ years

She was also in Fate/Zero, which wasn't that long ago

When you think about it, Street Fighter is already 25 years old, Metal Slug is at least 15 years old... if the games are good, people will still play them. And the way that arcade is setup kinda suggests its whole schtick is as a retro gaming center.

Where she also used a bike. But yeah, apart from Carnival Phantasm and Fate/Zero, haven't seen her in any other new works.

The talk a about Kawasumi got me interested in seeing what recent roles she has done or will do. I'd saw her most recent role was in AKB0048 as Sayaka and when Bakuman S3 starts up again she'll be in that too. Though I haven't seen that series yet...

Anyway, very pleasant to hear her as Blood Leopard. No way Haru can handle such a woman so fast as he is getting to know her.

Niko is awesome....

acting cute.... and teasing Haruyuki
acting bossy after hearing incarnation system
acting cute again.... and playing snow with Silver Crow
acting cool when talking about her past and hearing Takumu's sad past
and acting awesome when shooting those missiles...

Blood Leopard's voice and character is similar with Kuroyukihime...

banzai! banzai!

but seriously, that made now probably reminds me of the 2 maids in tsukihime (the MANGA i mean!, since that other thing doesn't exist...)
but with the way she holds haru, is he actually not fat, or is she just incredabily strong? or maybe haru is actually just a marshmallow?? lol

And so does Miku....

Then again, Miku could very well outlast Brain Burst...
