I mean, you know things are bad when Momiji said her cooking smells worse than Hell. She should know, she speaks from personal experience.

Interesting that Momiji is said to be a good cook. Makes sense; she is pathologically poor and can't afford to eat takeout. That reminded me of Jamie Oliver mentioning that the truly poor often eat better than those who are rich.

Btw, I recently realized that practically all direct parodies and references are from one of the Jump mangas (past or current, WSJ or SQ). Anyone catch anything from other magazines yet?

without rewatching episodes i can recall detective conan,grappler baki, doraemon and lupin, you could also add the rose of versailles, but this one was published in on one of shueisha shojo magazines.

when i re-watched ep 7, during the fight btw ichiko and ranmaru in the gym, when the students started leaving after the fight finished, i noticed Yuusuke and Yomi (from Yu yu Hakusho) among them, ROFL, what are they doing in the human world hahahaha.

so far the anime has covered up to start volume 4, but it had skipped a couple of chapters, also kuroyuri chapter is the first one of volume 5, in the end is very likely the 3 episodes that are left will cover the rest of volume 4.

I found it! it's not mamoru, it's Satoshi Hino (he did Kamui from Gintama, Sai from Naruto and Akito Takagi from Bakuman)

Spoiler for Episode 10: was kinda find to watch this week ep so i put the spoiler tag, anyways, this was probably the episode that best depicts the personalities and intentions of both ichiko and momiji, i gotta say the highligth was finally hearing haruka changing her macho voice, i expected these changes in ranmaru's character like what yu kobayashi did in nyankoi, and the nadeshiko ga! this week was utterly hilarious since i didnt expected that. __________________
