Okay, somthing about Volume 11

It turns out Manami was a major factor in making Oniichannko Kirino into the brother-escaping girl, while also making Kyousuke into the peace-loving average guy from the hyperactive whirlwind (which Kirino looked up to and made her fall in love with Kyousuke, and what Kirino has been and is right now) he was.

The following is what Manami basically said to Kirino, after figuring out Kirino's feelings:

That's strange.
That's not average.
That's not normal
Don't tell anyone that feeling.
Quickly forget it and give up, and go back to being normal siblings.

Well, according to the above volume 11 spoiler link, those of us who were looking forward to seeing Kyousuke's response to Ayase's confession

will be sorely deisappointed. Because it's cut out.

The author of that blog theorizes it was to keep the person Kyousuke likes a secret until the finale in volume 12.

I'm beginning to think "here we go again", another great premise, great storyline, great characters, and a crash on the climax. Its like anime/manga/LN writers just skipped the last week of classes on how to finish stories.

That isn't a judgement because so far the writer has been pretty brilliant -- just a concern. I can count the well-executed endings I've read in japanese pop fiction over the years on two hands versus the huge pile of meh.

I try not to "root for someone", I'd rather see a well-written story, thanks. Of course, I have a favorite but that doesn't mean it makes sense for her to "win".
