Hopefully the movie has a true ending. The open-ended note the series left off was kind of a let down.

It will. The writer said that one of the reasons they're including the brand new post-ending story is because fans really wanted to know what happens after the ending, so they decided to finally show it.

That would seem to imply that whatever they change, the ending would fit with the original series as well.

On a side note, are there any plans for a dub for this? I noticed the Blu-rays currently out just have the Japanese. I'd assume no given Bandai going under, but I'm curious if another company might get the rights and do a dub.

If not, I might just go ahead and buy while I can.

Aniplex USA apparently helped Bandai with the release so it would likely be going to them but if so it's really up in the air if they;d dub it since their bi-polar about that kind of thing.

The scans also confirm that Tauburn Compartment is the 3rd level upgrade for Tauburn, and the successor to Tauburn Ordinary.

I think there's a possibility that the new designs we're looking at are all from the new post-ending parts of the movie...

Got to say calling it that does say that it needs more then one person to pilot it .
