Reason: added spoiler tags - Sorry...guess I keep giving you trouble -.-, I didn't really think that even if I hadn't mentioned something in the LN I should've added the spoiler tags, because it was an answer to something related to the LN, since I was only talking about the episode and never mentioned anything about the LN...really sorry.
After this one I'll deff be re-reading atleast 5 times after posting, so I can notice if there's anything wrong with it, really sorry.

As another random comment about the comments in that blog post... as a moderator, that blog is way worse than this Forum! So many trolls and anti-trolls...

By the way, the author also clarified how the stadium could be so full (which is something we basically already knew)...

Spoiler for Based on author's comment about Episode 10:

Hot.

That's probably better written and less explicit than many an erotic fanfiction out there on the internet. Then again, that means absolutely nothing, so we'll just leave it at that

Spoiler for Based on author's comment about Episode 10:
I wonder if Silica and Lisbeth were in the crowd? If they were, I wonder why they did not reach out to say hi to Kirito? Anyway, just minor, unimportant details.

Now, as for Heathcliff's character, is he truly evil? Is he one of those grey leaders who need to make the tough decisions? We really don't know much about him, except that he gives off a negative vibe at the moment.

A lot to be worrying about in real when you're in SAO. Wonder if the people in SAO are worrying about what bored nurses/doctors can do to their bodies.

Heathcliff does make a valid point.

The KoB and the frontline group is dedicated to clearing the game as fast as possible yet Kirito wants to take Asuna (sub-leader) to who knows where. And having another unique skill player in the guild is worth the risk to take in his mind.

If anything Heathcliff's actions are pretty much justified up to this point.

Well, no, Kirito didn't necessarily want to take Asuna anywhere at that point. Asuna wanted to take a leave from the guild so she can spend time partying with Kirito. Kirito merely agreed that she could tag along with him; the whole thing was her choice and her idea, not his. It's not really up to Kirito to take responsibility for Asuna's request, but the guild leader just suckered him into it because he knew he'd jump at the chance at a good fight. I mean, it wasn't necessarily a bad strategic decision to take advantage of Kirito in this case (since they did want the extra player), but I'm not sure it's really justified (except in the "the ends justify the means" sense). In the end, Kirito didn't necessarily mind joining the guild anyway, so all's well that ends well, I guess. But yeah, if Asuna wants to take leave, it shouldn't matter who she wants to spend her time with; Heathcliff was butting into her private life because she had something he wanted (Kirito).

The main things that are questioning his character are not the decisions he made so far seen. They are his expression of what seems like disgust at the end of his duel with Kirito, and his hack technique he used to dodge Kirito's attack.

Other than that, he seems like a really wise and cunning leader.

And I agree with relentlessflame's spot on analysis.

Well all fine and good but he, if I interepreted that long pause correctly, somehow cheated in the fight.
The scene appeared to Kirito not being able to move for a few seconds, or his moves being delayed while hearthcliffs were a lot faster.
Might be just for the effect of a beater having lost though.
Still the scene was pretty strange...

Hey, don't put words in my mouth I never said, especially not if it's retarded nonsense!
I never said that Kirino killing Kuradeel was unfair. I even *explicitly* wrote that Kirito killing Kuradeel was *well-deserved*. I don't see how you get from that to misconstruing such a nonsense.

They said before that killing other players makes you an orange player. When Kirito hunten down that PK guild (not Laughing Coffin, the one before), he said that he wouldn't mind being orange for killing the girl (or the others as well), so they surrender, as Kirito has a much higher level, and they wouldn't have a chance.

They didnt really make it clear enough even for it being implied.
Yes, that's it exactly. Kirito wakes her up, fully clothed - that implies that he obviously slept elsewhere, got himself dressed and then came here to wake her up.
Even if they wanted to keep it PG-13, there's way too little to infer that they *did* have sex. If they had actually meant to imply that, they would've at least put Kirito in underpants only, sitting on the bed, the it would've been clear. But they didn't.
It would also be a little strange, if they would have had sex so suddenly after Kirito showed no interest before, when Asuna had stripped naked and just gave her a blank stare. He really *should* have undressed right there and went to bed with her, but he *didn't* (not interested, or perhaps he's a stuck-up prude believing in that "No sex before marriage" nonsense). It's hard to believe that he changed his mind that quickly and in a very short time went from "no interest" to "hey, let's have sex".
By all means, they really *should* have had sex, but it just wasn't there, as much as you wish it had happened. Hopefully we'll see something actually intimate later, i.e. something from which you can infer they did it without wishful thinking.

I don't know how it was in the LN. Did they actually have sex there, and the anime just failed badly at reproducing it?

You missed a subtlety there that the girl was green. So obviously attacking her would make him turn orange. She was the only one whom attacking would be a problem.

Like I said, they basically did their equivalent of cutting to Captain Kirk sitting on the bed putting on his boots. Subtle, but you can tell what he was up to.

Here's the relevant transition from the light novel:

Maybe I should quote myself from 4 pages back trying to reply your post. And check my previous post for answers to some of you comments. http://forums.animesuki.com/showthre...47#post4344647

RelentlessFlame already explained. But basically Rosalia implied that Kirito would attack her orange PK mates, no problem, and be safe and stay green. But eventually Kirito would need to catch Rosalia or attack her and attacking green players like her turns you orange.

Spoiler for Comparison to the Novels:

Boring mundane answer: Same reason Darth Vader never said, "Whoa, Artoo? Threepio? Long time no see."

Fanwank answer: They obviously didn't want to disturb Kirito when he was getting ready for the fight, and the scene cut away after he lost so for all we know Egil, Klein, Asuna and the girls took him out of a choco-banana parfait to cheer him up.

Have you ever been to any major sports event? I was at one once and I had a friend of my brother playing in the game, so I naively thought I should say hi to him. But I just had to look around me to see the thousands of other people waving and screaming to realise that nothing I did would be likely to make me stand out enough for him to notice. It's not like you get a backstage pass just on your word that you know someone.

My god. You really didn't get my point, no need to say it's retarded though.
I said you said it was unfair, because, if you kill someone who tries to kill you, you have to be able to defend yourself, without taking consequences. The " nonsense " here, is that you said he should turn orange. Which would basicly mean you think that everyone that defends himself from getting killed, should be charged as a criminal. That's the nonsense. - It doesn't really matter if his death was well deserved, though. What if he was still green? His death would've still been well deserved, but then Kirito would've turned orange, which would make Kirito the criminal, not Kuradeel...

And, he didn't say he wouldn't mind turning orange for killing that woman, nor her comrades. He said he wouldn't mind turning orange to hurt her a bit so he could get them all to jail, why would you think he'd want to kill them? - Since she's green, if he " touched " her, he'd turn orange.

Edit: You said it was another flaw if Kirito didn't turn orange...so I really don't get it...if you don't think it's wrong for him not to be " charged as guilty " - if you can say so - why would he turn orange for killing an orange player?

Or did you just not realize that Green players attacking Orange players wouldn't turn Orange? Then, if so...my bad, I just thought you'd know that by now..
