Strike Noir has no chance of appearing in a SEED Destiny remaster either. So, eh.

Who knows? It did fight along the Destroy piloted by Stella for awhile, IIRC. Or maybe they include Sven in a cameo?

The Phantom Pain unit that Sven was a part of was part of the Destroy's escort. So we may see a short cameo of the Strike Noir, but given how the SEED Remaster's playing out, that's all we'll see of it.

I've always wondered what would happen if Kira acquired the STRIKE NOIR as opposed to the FREEDOM in SEED.

Having said that... the Earth Federation is the butt-monkey of the show, being at a technical disadvantage ever since the latter half of SEED and never seemed to recover. Their crowning achievement of mobile suit design was probably the NOIR. The Destroy became third-rate after Stella's death, and we've seen no better replacement.

You know, the Feds in UC weren't saints, but they weren't the butt-monkey. The Earth Federation in SEED gets punched, maimed, thrown aside and eventually cast away by just about every faction in the series, even by their own people. Funny now that I think about it. How does it stay in power like this?

SEED and Destiny constantly showed the Earth Alliance as pure evil, having no chance of redemption at all. I always saw favoritism with the writers and ZAFT.

Right? The Earth Federation started off as a corrupted organization staffed by extremist and racists who could care less about what they do to the enemy or themselves. The only possibly redeemable character, Nartarle, was killed in the first series, leaving a vacuum that was never properly filled in the 2nd season.

No, Mwu doesn't count.

Sure, ZAFT wasn't exactly goody-two-shoes either, and they were just as bad in SEED as the Earth Federation. But at least they have people who thought the leadership was engaged in something extremely dangerous, and attempted to change within. It also doesn't help that the latter had very few, if any, likable characters.

Eh, Flay was killed off too when she gave up hating. Seems like the Earth guys that refused to hate either joined the rebel group the Heroes are in or end up dead.

IWSP and Noir are nice and the Strike Gale also looks nice, but I still think the original Strike is the best. It does justice to the RX-78 and still preserves its own identity without trying too hard. I just love the simplicity of it's design.

I also love the Aile Strike. Everything is sharp and smooth with little to no curved lines in the design. This perfectly complements the Strike, better than all the other striker packs. The Aile pack really feels like an extension of the Strike rather than an add-on.. I have the impression that the Aile Strike was designed as one single MS, and they came up with the the striker pack idea later on.

It's worth noting he bullseyed that guy with the thrown gun.

The point was he just didn't want to shoot him dead. Not that he literally didn't know how to use a gun.

Of course in Destiny Meyrin's still shown to be a better shot than him.

It is also worth knowing that Brer-- I mean Kira forgot to even pull out the safety and had to be reminded. There. His marksmanship is probably so poor he could only hit the arms and legs, never the chest.

Well, it's not like he knew how to use a Gun at that point. By Destiny he seemed pretty confident when he pulled a gun at the end, than again his target was seated so it's not like he could miss even if he tried.
