Hi everyone, delurking finally.

I've been around in anime/manga fandom for the better part of 20 years, but after 2002 I pretty much dropped off the map until recently. Before then I was an active ficcer, mostly in CCS and AnC fandoms. I used to run the Ayashi no Ceres translation project, which probably no one under the age of 25 would even remember.

Unfortunately at this point my conversational Japanese has about 10 years of rust on it--I still retain enough to pick up some dialogue here and there, but not enough to get by.

These days what brought me out of "retirement" was Sword Art Online, which is probably the first series in a long time I've cared enough to follow closely. God help me, it even has me wanting to write fic.

Hi everyone, I'm Amoiro Nguyen, I'm an anime fan like everyone here and I also love light novels.
I have the hobby of writing light novels and drawing some fanarts. I'm not that skilled, but I do it for love.

I'm a fencer, it's a popular sport here and I enjoy fighting with a sword.

I hope we get along well.

I've been into anime for a long time - basically half of my life. I was part of the Toonami generation and Sailor Moon was my favorite. I was also watching a lot of other series at the time that I didn't realize were anime until we got the internet in our household. These series resulted in me becoming an anime fan! Before I knew it, I was buying Cardcaptor Sakura subtitled on VHS, then bumping up to a DVD player and collecting even more anime on DVDs, buying manga online and in the bookstores, going to conventions, buying dolls and figures and all kinds of merchandise...!

I tend to lurk, but when I have something to say, I can get really wordy because I like to write~

I do windows gaming, PS3, android. Though I may do some console gaming, if I have the choice I prefer to support more open OSes like Linux/android or even Windows (even though Windows isn't really open) more than consoles both due to features that a PC can do that no console can do, the consoles limitations(from all-a hardware,software,dictated developer limitation view point. And development/update cost. To me Console makers are nothing but dictating middlemen taking money) OK, hope that didn't offend anyone, because if a game is good and exclusive then I will play it. (Waiting for Okami HD remake after all)

When did you start watching Anime?
-well it started since I was small, i watched dragon balls, doraemon, mojako, digimon, pokemon, sailor moon, detective conan and other anime but i just watch those things because i like it...

the peak where i fell deeply in love with anime was on my College years.. well, it started just to impress a crush of mine who somewhat like anime...eventually it progressed into liking it without any reasons at all, even though she's not my crush anymore, i still watch more and more Anime because i fell in love with it... I also read manga...

Do you consider yourself as an Otaku?
-no! i don't consider myself as an otaku, in fact i really hate those people calling their selves as Otaku even though they're not one.. but if other people call me otaku, then its ok, as long as it is not an insult

Well hi there people

I discovered this site when I was watching Steins;Gate and searching for speculations on the further development of the series. There were lots of interesting theories and everyone seemed quite nice to me. But then Steins;Gate was done for and I stopped watching Anime.
A few months ago I was dragged in again and now I'm progressing step by step in watching the really good older Animes. I came back here as well and decided to make an account and introduce myself

I'm paperwinged (some may know me as Foxx), 18 and from Stuttgart, Germany. Like I said I didn't watch that many Animes until now but I will work that up. From time to time I'm working on Signatures and am also active on some graphics forums.
Right now I don't know what else to say, just ask if you want to know something particular.
