Thanks alot; I now have an image of a BETA owner/boss/something owning a Destroyer-class and playing with it like it's a dog, and calling it all sorts of affectionate names; meanwhile Destroyer-dog robs itself at its masters legs and tries to cuddle...

No, she is pilot at year 80s, when still pilot the MiG-21s, long time ago TE's timeline. And MiG-21 like other old generation TSF, has low survive ratio, and maybe she was eaten already.

She's a major named character...so far major named characters have actually quite decent survival rate...Even if not her, someone else maybe Katia or Liz showing up is possible.

Unless of course at the end of the series they all end up like Inghild...

TSFiA 39 notes that the Oder-niesse line fell in 1983, so they're probably all dead, which is a pity. Note that by the time Alternative rolls around, we hardly see any older TSF pilots; life expectancy doesn't seem too great.

That is due to the Palalaigos disaster right? Or is it something else? Schwarzesmarken itself takes place in '83

Even with continental Europe overrun they could have made it to Britain to form the Dover line...Else all those Euro formations there should not exist if they shared their homeland's fate.
