I just had a thought... what if the "rival" isn't Touma's rival but Mikoto's? As in rival for Touma's affection? The magic thunder user vs the science thunder user... it's even funnier if it's a boy

Now THAT would be shattering Touma's peaceful days.

I can see this novel being like volume 12, a mostly slice of life novel which begins a two-parter arc.

! About this new character, I say it is one of these three choices: Bishounen, Trap, or Reverse Trap. I hope everyone thinks it's a trap when it's really a reverse trap. Like Yukimura from Boku wa tomodachi.

@Aegir I think it would not only taste terrible, but would also be painful if Mikoto is involved. We all know how her temper is, especially when it concerns Touma

Hmm...The face is somewhat feminine but the waist is very much like a man's.

That's more of a shoulder length thing though, not all the way down to the waist.

The new "guy" is too much fabulous -_- related to Ollerus and Silvia? I can picture the family Ollerus and SIlvia with freeloader Fiamma visiting the academy city for the festival.

He's a guy I tell you!! And this smells fishy, a guy that's no GAR in any way and makes it directly in the front page in his first appearance doesn't mean anything good ... he must be the (only really and) most evil antagonist this series has seen so far! (I'm dead serious here)
