Action anime

Hello again, this time I'm looking for good anime filled with action that features a main character who is a member of some kind of organization

I prefer the main character to be male, no yaoi or shounen ai

Also I would like the series to be more serious

Ex: darker than black

Already watched/watching

Darker than black
Witch hunter robin
Cowboy bebop
Black Lagoon
Linebarrel iron
Black Cat
Trinity blood
Hellsing
Requiem for the Phantom

It's hard to pick a single "main character" in Baccano! because of the multiple, interweaved stories, but most of the principals belong to various gangster organizations. The story is set in Prohibition America.

In Eden of the East the main character discovers he is part of a very unique and very powerful organization. I'm not sure you'll find enough action in it though.

House of Five Leaves concerns a bunch of kidnappers toward the end of the Edo period. This one has almost no action; it depends much more on characterization.

Some of the famous mecha shows like Evangelion and Raxhephon have male main characters that are part of organizations fighting alien invasions.

I don't know if you've seen this but Phantom: Requiem of the Phantom has just what you need.

If you are willing to accept a female lead, then Claymore definitely fits your request. In fact the demon-fighting women in the show all belong to something called simply The Organization.

I'm pretty sure D.Gray-man fits your bill, depending on what you mean by organization. Another one is Tegami Bachi, an interesting anime about a character who delivers mail through dangerous parts of the world. It's actually more interesting than I make it.

If you like a female lead, then Chrno Crusade is also nice.

Full Metal Panic? True, the first season has a bunch of comedy mixed in, but "the Second Raid" season was pretty serious.

Fullmetal Alchemist
as well.

Gungrave if you like mafia stories, gunfights & friendship. Don't be deceived by the 1st episode, the real story starts in another setting at episode 2.
