And Funimation yapping on about it on youtube. I think, damn youtube region locked Australia out! So... if someone can tell me what they're actually saying, that would totally be cool.

What was the point of killing Sydonay?

That was completely unnecessary. In the end, it was just as planned and Yuji got what he wanted. It was a noble cause too so why the fuck were they opposing him and to KILL SYDONAY? WTF? This guy deserved a good ending.

I got to say, my impression of Flame Haze this season is that they were pricks to the very end.

He got a good ending. He was in love with Hecate and wanted to be with her. He got that wish--by killing him, his soul was taken to where Hecate's was and they get to be together until the next time they're reborn for the Snake's wish.
