I am watching various anime, often older ones, I was surprised that a pretty recent anime the "Sisters of Wellber" is so hard to find with decent english sub, or at all.
I managed to find episodes here and there and got to season 2 episode 7, mostly watching bad video quality (but good subs) from "Yoroshiku". Now however, the upload site I found most episodes on deleted them, so I am stuck at "Sisters of Wellber Zwei 8" (the second season's name is the german "Two"). Can anyone here help me? I basically registered here because I see it more and more often that older (way older than 2008 releases) anime lack decent english subs or that they got taken down, I hope someone here can point me into the direction of the remaining episodes. Perhaps if I am lucky, someone has the whole season/series subbed on their harddrive, or maybe a subteam takes note of disappearing series and is so kind to resub this and other ones. |

You mean, you have been using OCH? Forget about it and go with torrent, OCH is mostly dead since the MU bust, at least regarding all this otaku stuff. The show itself wasn't hard to find, I don't know where you have been looking, but googling resulted in plenty results within a few seconds. The best, and fastest, should probably be the bakabt one.

I meant sites like megaupload (those that still exist, that is), and all the torrents i found were dead. Including the one from the site you linked to. Last edited by joriandrake; 2012-09-21 at 10:52. |

interesting, for me no seeds or peers show up, am using ntorrent
edit: no clue what to do with the settings and such, since the last 1-2 updates I have problems to connect to seeds through it, but have no idea how to get to fix it, as I ages ago set the settings up and since then it always worked |

First of all, check whether you're even connecting to the tracker. Again, I don't know how that's done with your client, but as on my utorrent screenshot, you can see this "Tracker" register in the lower bottom. There it should say something like "working". If it doesn't, then it's probably a network related issue. Check your own firewall and restart your router, maybe try opening the required ports on your own. I would suggest just installing utorrent, you really don't need to set anything up, it should work straight out of the box. Also, please be so kind to edit your previous post, in which the bakabt link is still available. Apparently it's against the forum rules

You called it "ntorrent" before, so I was assuming it's a different client.
Then take a screenshot please. "Options -> show detailed info" should make that bottom part visible. Then click on tracker, it should look something like this ![]() Also, how do you access the web if you don't have a router? Dial Up connection/modem?

![]() ADSL, modem, not wireless, in case it matters I am from Hungary doesn't want to connect, honestly though I prefer to watch anime streamed online, but in this and some other cases I have to look more for episodes, although it is rare that it is so hard to find them as in the case of Sisters of Wellber (especially season 2). Usually I have some connection and seeds show up, but since 1-2 updates they barely "stick" and often the 100% seeds don't stay longer connected than 5-10 minutes |

seems there's a proxy in between or something. Check if there's a proxy enabled in your utorrent (options -> preferences -> connection) or even in your windows internet settings (control panel -> internet options -> connections -> lan settings)

...wasn't the proxy for privacy setting or something? o.O true that it works now though XD edit: anyway thanks for the help in this, however, it doesn't solve the main/original issue of disappearing and hard to come by subs for series, I recall 3 or so anime I stopped watching simply because I didn't find any subs for them |

Anyways, glad to see it's working now at least. Enjoy the rest of the show. Yeah, no, not really. Name another example, if the show wasn't uber obscure or simply no one cared about it then it might be true, but for most halfway decent shows you won't have trouble finding subs... well, maybe not if they're from the 80s or something

uh, it wasn't recently and I don't recall the name
but the last one that I didn't find was about an italian boy with a monkey wanting to find his mom in Argentina, I think the location was Genoa not recalling the name of the series but I think it was based on an actual book my main reason to come here right now was to manage to see the remaining episodes of Sisters of Wellber, it is a good series like Allison & Lillia, and also pretty decent, so it "boggles the mind" why I can't find a streaming site with proper subs for it, or even episodic download easily |

Quite the example you came up with there, but again, it only was a matter of a few minute to find a working torrent. The show you're looking for is probably Haha wo Tazunete Sanzenri, an anime from 1976. And even here bakabt is the easy solution to your problem, they have all 52 episodes available.
But as I said, shows like this can be a problem of course. Nothing is available forever, people will stop seeding eventually. So you're lucky this time, but again, with shows this old I wouldn't be surprised if you don't find them completely anymore. btw, if you're looking for it on Bakabt, it's listed as "Marco - From Apennines to the Andes". Also, why would you want streaming? To each their own I guess, but I couldn't enjoy something in shitty stream quality, even if it's this old. You could also check out the Usenet, it's a bit more complicated, but especially for older stuff it's a lot better suited than the current alternatives we have.

I like streaming because it doesn't make eat up driverspace, plus it is hard to look up people who just watch series on those sites, and I don't really care for HD stuff anyway, average streaming quality is good enough for me and my eyes are bad already so I won't notice some weak quality drop
are the episodes for Marco, all 52 subbed? I got to about ep11 and the subbing team did it recently on a good quality source but stopped around there as the team didn't finish it and yeah, I have a problem to remember names Xox |

Of course they are subbed, there are some issues because two different groups did it, but it's watchable.
